Moment Skis Durability

Hey NS, just wondering about the durability on moment skis. I'm thinking about getting the vice 's for next season but I don't know how they will hold up.

I have the vices. Fun ski, love the way they ride, but I'm a bit dissapointed in their durability. Barely have 14 days on them, and the edges and base are trashed. No idea how. I just picked them up after a day of skiing and noticed the damage. Haven't taken any huge falls with them.

I'm still riding a pair of 08 reno jibs with 300+ days on them. The things refuse to die.

I have a pair and I'm on day like 75? Im like a rail only skier atm as my collarbone is fucked and a lap is 30 secs at my home hill. 1 min lap including the tow rope x 3 rails = 90 rails an hour = 400+ rails a day for the entire season. I have like 3 inches of edge missing but otherwise they are still chugging. I have zero issues with them and they are so fucking fun to ride. Honestly, Id wait till the end of the season to grab them for $359 or whatever they go to on Evo.com. I'm planning on another pair.

They have fixed for this season the chipping issue that they have had which i don't care and don't have an issue even before the fix (I have 2014s). I say go for them, but wait until the end of the season to get them for like 50% off

Solid as fuck. I break pretty much everything I touch and my Moment Bibbys are one of the very few pairs of skis I've retired and not broke.

Nothing but good things to say about Moment.

My Teams are the most fun ski on the planet. I have a solid 400+days on them. should have retired them 2 years ago but im still riding them. i do have edges ripped out, however everything else about the ski is solid and my sidewalls are holding strong even if im grinding on them. i seriously wish they still made the teams. i would pick them up again in a heart beat

have the vices right now but im thinking of switching to surface park blanks or on3p presters

Dont get blanks. I tried replacing my teams last winter with the blanks and its a completely different kind of ski. blanks are super stiff and dont have the symmetrical ride. Dont get me wrong, i like the blanks as a nice freeride ski and thats what i use them for theyre just not that great of a park ski..

100% agreed I had 2013 Bibbys and they were probably the most durable ski I have ever had.

Just snapped the tip of my 2014 bibbys after 4 days on snow. I'd advise against it.

Shit happens. Send us an email. We are here all the time and will take care of you info@momentskis.com or direct to me luke@momentskis.com or call 775-527-1595

All ski companies have a couple pairs every year that need to be warrantied. Sorry you pulled this short straw this time but we will make it right.
