Moment Ski Question

Curious about the Bannana. Is it basically a wider Merdian or something else? Also, what's the overlap with the Bibby as far as conditions go? Think the Bibby is more dimensional and useful all over the mountain, but wondering about input from people who might know. Would Bannana be a good AK ski vs Bibby? Thanks.
 
Moment makes it sound extremely burly. I’m sure it would hold up in AK but I can’t offer a comparison
 
I’ll probably end up buying bananas, but from my understanding they are lighter than the meridian 107 in 187s and use a metric shit ton of carbon fiber and fiberglass. I’ve heard they rip but I don’t know a whole lot about them if I buy some I’ll let you know how they ski.

Stated weight on the site is incorrect. They are definitely heavier than the Meridian 107s. We havent made them in awhile so the weight is now taken off the site. That being said, when we do produce the skis off this preorder they will be made to the original specs.

Putting full rocker vs. camber aside, what are the desired conditions and related overlap between these and the Bibbys? These boards are very appealing, but I have some Bibbys so probably don't need these as well unless they're my dedicated pow ski, but even then likely Bibbys would do 90% of the job, right? AK and J Hole on the schedule this winter so I could convince myself I "need" these, but looking for some input and advice.

Also, is there an estimated ship date yet since they're still pre-order?
