Anyone been on them, or have any input on which would work better?
Im 6'3 165 but lookin for an all around ski for the resort and for backcountry sessions.

aaaah my bad. but they should still be long enough. there are plenty of tall dudes that ride bacons at 182

yeaa, both options are long enough. what about how they ride. looked at what the stats said on their websites n stuff, wonderin if anyone had any insight from experience.

what do you like to do in the BC? I would check out Garbones(sp?) from moment. its a rockered M1

if you are looking for an all mountain ski i think the bibby pro is also another option. I have JJ's on the way, should be here wensday... but i am sorta regretting them but we will find out when i get them to see what i will do. They were sort of an impulse buy, but i have a feeling if i kept them id be super happy either way.

If you are considering the 185cm JJ's keep this in mind, they are disappearing from shops pretty damn fast. There are some online retailers that still have some, but a lot of major shops have run out of 185's.

188 Ruby. I got them two years ago looking for exactly what you described (I'm 6'1") and they couldn't have worked out better. If you are worried about the length go with the 190. It has a flatter tail and is a lot stiffer. Probably a little more versatile than the 180/188 but won't be as fun in the park or for booter seshs.

i just skied on my new 08.09 jj;s today they are sick, i skied them on man made snow. they held up very nice. what a solid ski. i am happy i went with them. i have the mojo15 binding. i was able to hold an edge just like any other ski if not better.

man so hard to make a desision! one thing im not liking about the JJ's is that theres not that much of a tip, its more flat on both sides. will that be a problem on the groomers/resort?

yeaa, im mostly gonna be on my home mountain (alyeska) and there the weather can change quick. But I know I will be doing as much BC as possible this year, so i donno.
