Moment night train

Yes, I have seen them. They are amazing.

But yeah, just to say "I ride night trains" would be fucking funny alone.

Casey Jones anyone? haha.

Yep ... new model.

Not the most in-depth review, but a quick blurb from someone in Italy who had a few turns on these:

"Fantastic float" that is better than the JJ (only similar ski that could be used for comparison). Uniform flex. Very agile in the trees. Not the greatest on groomers but that was probably attributed to a bad tune. 9/10 in crud. Stable at high speeds, but with a "good limit".
 
hmm, in terms of intended use it sounds like a fatter jj that's designed more for charging...i think they would be overlap with my jj's
 
Also, the rocker profile on the Night Train is modeled after the 186 Bibby.

You could sell the JJ's. ;)

But yeah, a bit wider in the waist but less sidecut towards the tail. Also, the Night Train has early tip & tail taper which helps reduce drag and hookiness in powder.
 
haha i love my jj'si'd be looking for something around 125 underfoot and pretty soft and jibby to replace my hellbents, something stiffer than bents tho
 
julio! i want night trains as bad as i want bibbys i'tll be a tough ski decision this year
 
i want these skis soo bad, just don't think it will be worth it on the east coast, might just go with the reno rockers, if only they had the same graphics :(
 
so these are stiffer than the bents/ jjs right? does moment make any pow skis with a comparable flex to those two?
 
well bents and jj's have very different flexes, bents are soft and jj's are by no means softthe ruby is pretty soft but nothing like a bent
