Hey guys, I have been looking at the Moment Jibs for the 2012 season. Since I live in Ontario I don't have any shops that carry Moment products so I was hoping to get some insight before I order them offline.

Thanks!

heard good things bout em but heard of some delaming issues, check the ar7s... i have heard so many better things about em.

My brothers bibbys are barely chipped and they were ridden hard last season. any ski with side wall is going to chip.

only the old park skis sucked. my melee's have been ridden over 100 days easy and could still pass off as slightly used.

jibs are a super solid park ski. they are durable, they ski well, they are light as hell poppy and overall the top 3 park skis i have ridden.

Moments are good skis, i love them. But their are construction issues IMO. every moment ski i've owned has broke.

The topsheet does chip and the edge does pull easy. I'm not sure how the construction is this year, but i would imagine it's better then last.

Yes you're going to get chipping, yes they will scratch.

All in all, it's a good ski, made by good people who try to make awesome skis. They sure can take a beating trust me, but eventually like all skis they will brake

Keep in mind that I haven't had a pair of moments break in 4 years. The construction isn't really a huge issue anymore IMHO. and keep in mind the guy I'm quoting skis like a mad man. :)I'm just a really huge supporter of moment they are light and playful and if your ski was to break Casey is a great guy and he would most likely hook you up with some new ones.

Thanks guys. I'm definitely going to check out the new skis before I order them. I'm not too worried about chipping because I usually only own skis for about 2 maybe 3 seasons and I'm not usually too rough on them.

Tanner you crazy kid! haha.

Yeah moments are great skis if you take it easy. I love there powder boards. I had a set of Reagens when they first came out. Never had a problem other then chipping.

Shoot them an email and see how the construction is.

Yeah if you broke your skis in your first season of owning them, Casey would for sure hook you up
