Moment Donner Party???

I was thinking of picking up a pair of the Donner Party's and was wondering if anybody on here knew anything about them. Seems like they would ski the ARG's but a little but more float with the added width, seem like they got a tad bit more rocker, and wouldn't have the problem of a narrow tip in heavier conditions. If you know anything, please let me know. Peace.

thanks man. the only cult I could find was a private one so I hope they take my request. While I am waiting, anybody else got an opinion on them?

I made the purchase. they are super sick and they look like they are gonna kill lines. they are really really light, and the flex is perfect, i would say somewhat comparable to an arg in flex. overall if you don't have a lot of groomers to ski, then i think you will very much enjoy these.

like stated, mine are ridiculously light, flex seem sjust bomber, pefect flex for what the ski is made for - deep snow and pillow lines. I can't wait for the season to start.

Thank holly and drew for the info. I am pretty sure I am going to pick them up next time I am at porters. It would be the fourth ski in the quiver, so they would only be used for what they are made for. How is the flex compared to the ARG's and does it have more rocker? Thanks again guys.

I want to say a somewhat softer flex than ARG, but I can't be certain. One thing however, there is definitely more rocker on my Donner's than the ARG.

Thanks a bunch guys. So lets see, tad softer, tad wider, and a tad more rocker than the ARG solves all the problems and qualms I had with the ARg's. Thats all I needed to know. Lets just hope Porters still has a pair when I cruise up next. Thanks again guys.

those are some super sick skis for sure man! im considering sending my JJ's back to Porters and getting a set of Bibby Pros

not to hijack, but any reason to prefer the bibby's over the donner? I'm pretty much sold on the donner but then i saw the bibby's and gave it some more thought...

The Bibbys are going to be more versatile than the Donner Partys with the narrower waist and regular sidecut. Unless you have a distinct spot in your quiver, the Bibbys will probably be a better all around choice.
