I've read all the reviews on the deathwish but i just want to see if theres anyone on here who has skied the deathwish and can tell me how it really performs in all conditions (groomers, pow, variable, slush, etc..).
i can't help ya but id suggest googling site:newschoolers.com + deathwish etc to find what i imagine are plenty of threads and comments about them over the past few years
Only demoed them in rather variable conditions and they did handle all of it pretty well. Not sure if anyone else feels this way but I almost felt like they were too much on rails at times...in a weird way that wasn’t necessarily positive but wasn’t negative. Definitely a sweet ski though.
They're pretty sick. As said above I wouldn't use them as a designated park ski because I think something that's 112 underfoot usually isn't fun on rails. The Deathwish has triple camber, three sections of camber under your ski. What that does is let you really get an edge and the result of this is you end up with a wider ski that does really well in hardpack. Tip and tail rocker help make it easy to turn and make it badass in any soft snow or pow. It's got a pretty big cult following, check out this review and all the comments to get more opinions on them! http://blistergearreview.com/gear-reviews/2012-2013-moment-deathwish-190cm
