Moguls Results

My predictions were:

1.Dale B. Smith

2.Alex Bilodeau

3.Nathan Roberts

4.Janne Lathela

5.MA Moreau

Shit...I was really hoping Alex will get silver.4th place for Moreau really sucks too, Ive been there a few times (not in the olympics but in other events)
 
mogul skiers are so old school, it really bothers me to see the sport in the olympics... douchebags who never progress!
 
^^ too bad nate didn't even make the olympic team.

But hell yeah to toby Dawson and who else is happy that jonny moseley jr. didn't win a medal. I hope he breaks his leg in the nfl combine that he has to rush off to compete in.
 
Never progress? How many cork 1080's did you see at the last Olympics?

Not one skier did a twister, daffy, or spread this year.

Looks like they're moving forward to me.
 
What's old school? Mogul skiing is just another discipline. Is racing old-school? What about telemark? Mogul skiers are progressing just as much as what you call 'new school' skiers. I doubt you could even ski bumps if you tried you tit.

By the way douchbag, mogul skiing always progresses, 4 years ago a quad twist and a cork 7 won the olympics.Before that, a TTS and a 360 mute won the olympics.Before that a KXK and a triple twister won. You tell me it doesn't progress?
 
man Alex Bilodeau's run was super sick. Too bad his second jump was a little off on the landing or else he would have scored huge on the jumps.
 
Think about what you just said...over the last 10 years mogul skiing has progressed soooooo much more than "newschool" skiing in my opinion. i believe your idea of progression is skewed
 
ok, i agree, if you meen thats the progression... but i never seen one mogul skier who did a nose, japan, critical, truckdriver or some cool grab... when they do 3`s they do a helicopter, and that is what people do in the 80`s...
 
If you haven't seen those tricks, then you obviously haven't been watching mogul events lately. Bump skiers are throwing lots of different grabs and have been for years.

As for straight 3s, 99.9% of the people on this site could not do them as big or on a mogul course like the World Cuppers, so I wouldn't dis that.
 
That is what mogul skiing diffrenciates itself from big air. Skiiers don't have time to put a truck driver in a spin.

Moguls isn't about style, its about perfection. That how skiing was designed and going to be judged.

Personaly I love a cork 7 with the skis crossed, I think a grab is a cork look bad.
 
i'd like to see you throw a nose grab in a 3 or 7 or whatever off a mogul kicker, land cleanly and continue down the zipper line. someone threw a cork 10 in a bump course... do you understand how insanely awesome that is?!?!

but actually... has anyone thrown a rodeo 7 off a mogul jump?
 
ok i understand it know, i was wrong... i havent seen that much moguls, but those i hanve seen its not any type of grab... i have only seen a 3 mute...
 
Yeah whoever said mogul skiing is lame and doesnt progress is an idiot. I haven't seen a mogul competition since the last olympics, and since that time noticed a HUGE difference in the speed at which they are travelling on the moguls, and clearly the tricks they are doing now.
