Dearest skrchiq:
I didnt realize this was 'lmao' funny.
Please refer to my first post. No where in that post did I say that moguls are ONLY formed by powder. My point was as is stated. I fully agree that moguls are not just made by powder, however, after a powder day there will undoubtedly be moguls present. HHHHmmmmmmm? And I will reiterate yet again that these are formed when people do short little turns that should no longer be accepted as the way to ski to full potential. And yes, incidentally, these same short turns form somewhat sequential moguls even on packed powder/loose snow. Yet again, if however you enjoy this kind of skiing go right ahead.
Secondly I never even turned it into this arguement. You said it best 'who said moguls were always made on powder days??' I dont know because it wasnt me. Yet somehow, you knew enough about me that you could second this brilliantly stated arguement- this would be your friends post.
And suddendly because my approach to skiing moguls is somewhat different to how moguls are really skiied, I have no idea what they really are? I too at one time enjoyed actual mogul skiing, but that was yrs ago, and I am pretty sure that I have been around on the hill and on my skis to have somewhat of an idea of how they work.
It is understandable that you misinterpreted my first and, subsequently my follow up posts and actually believe that I think that moguls can only be formed in powder and perhaps I was not being general enough. However, if you really think that I dont know anything about skiing, perhaps maybe the race is now done for you, but you did not actually get to the finish line.
Furthermore, in the future if you do disagree, try to tell me why instead of jumping on your friends bandwagon. Credibility is lost quite fast that way. I do not mind argueing a little. It can be kind of fun.
