Mods need to start a crusade

to get rid of all the worthless members who have managed to turn NSG into a legit shithole of a forum. NSG has had ups and downs before but it's never been so terrible. There are practically no redeeming qualities. And it shows, pretty much all the members who had anything of quality to say have stopped posting in it. Get this bellum sacrum started.

I kind of agree. They banned or squashed any good trolls and then they leave all these stupid kids that suck at intranets.

NSG blows at the moment, and this is going back into the season, not justsummer shit.

Idk, I don't really care anymore, I don't think the mods do, I don't think anyone does.

Maybe I'm just getting old.
 
Idk i just dont get how anonymous users of an internet forum can really get people that upset. Its really not a big deal at all
 
they should make a new forum where only members with a certain amount of posts are allowed in. Like 2000 or something. Not saying that post count rules all but most of the decent members are up there And it's a good way to gauge it.

I actually agree. Like the aliases nowadays (jiveturkey being the newest) are literally the most unfunny people I've ever seen. It's pretty obvious who is using an alias and it takes far more time to create a new alias than it does to delete one.

I used to be an avid member but now I rarely even come on here (still once a day but I used to spend hours, now I spend minutes). NSG used to be where I got a lot of my daily content, there'd always be a couple threads that piqued my interest. Now I literally log on, check NSG, see its all still worthless bullshit, and log off or close the page. There used to be a lot of quality posters, now they are few and far between.

Thats a good idea maybe a little lower, maybe like 1069, but also have a certain karma, anyone can mass post, but its the quality not quantity we want. But there should also be a forum that is locked to public that mods cannot delete anything unless users request to do so, so no outsiders can see how fucked up we can be. Its an idea.

not upset, disappointed.

I miss getting into arguments with members about actual world issues where all parties involved shed tears. They were still shitshows and rarely did something informative come from them, but they're still a huge step up from arguments about whether you'd rather muff a 6 or eat ass on a 4.
 
actually I'm just going to blame the Olympics and say that all these shitty members with shitty content and shitty posts that have made NSG a shit hole don't actually ski and just found this site after watching slope.

This is my theory. NSG has become exponentially worse since the Olympics.
 
truth. I understand its summer and everything, but it seemed like last year there were some actual funny and quality threads mixed into the chaos. But this time around, it just seems like pointless post whoring is taking up the majority of NSG.

Then again, maybe I'm the one who's salty around here.. either way, this site is definitely losing its appeal to me.

It's not so much individual members but the forum as a whole just isn't very good these days. Anyone who's frequented NSG for longer than the past year or 2 I'm sure would agree.

of course it's also easy to point fingers at members like hamfacegirl

but banning people wouldn't be as good as having members like AR6Rider back to put them in their place.

NS was actually slightly calm when you were banned, yet you call yourself a "quality member." You were banned for like almost a year and you were one of the shit trolls bragging about being a student at Harvard. Quit being a hypocrite and own up to your actions.

Yoski was one of the most entertaining people on the site. If we banned everybody who got your panties in a bunch, this site would be pretty boring. Watching him get you and other losers all riled up was fucking hilarious.

For the same reason, I'll never advocate for the banning of SJW. I can't tell if the tripe he spews is serious or not, but watching other people bicker with him is great. Besides, experiencing a diversity of opinions is good for you.
