Hey guys, long time no ski.

I am fighting at the sportsplex in Bellingham tomorrow night at "fight night round four, the fury!". General admission tickets are 25 bucks the day of the show.

My opponents name is Brady Torres. He is 0-1-0 and this is my first fight.

I'm going to kick this guy in the face.

You guys that are chilling in Bellingham need to come see me fight!

Unfortunately I have lab or I would for sure drive up. Love supporting the local shows. Good luck, hands up chin tucked. I thought you were doing muay thai though, got into MMA now? Anyways ill make it to your next show. Make some money so you can see strikeforce challengers june 19th in Kent and UFC 102 August 29th in Portland~

I may just go to this. If I do then I'll be loud and belligerent for you.. If I don't, kick some ass.

I'm almost a blue belt in BJJ, so I can grapple as well. But yes, striking is my base, I've been kickboxing for about 4 years. Our next show up here will be in July and I will probably be fighting again. Do you train at a gym?

No heh... I was born with no athletic ability whatsoever, saying I wasnt born to be a fighter is an understatement. Id love to get into BJJ but school takes up the lion's share of my time. Definitely pick it up later on though. So ya, ive just kept my self to being a fan. Good luck~

lol, so are you just a skiing fan as well? c'mon man, if you are physically fit and coordinated enough to ski aggressively then you can train martial arts. Maybe not fit enough to compete... but you can start training dude.

Taking that first step to just start going to classes at a kickboxing gym is probably the best thing i've ever done for myself, and at that time, I was completely clueless about MMA.

That's my two cents anyways.

There's not a single university in this country that doesn't have a judo club. Judo is freaking awesome and a damn fine BJJ substitute.

Theres just no way it can happen alongside school, and im not going to pick it up for the summer only to drop it in the fall~

It's an amateur fight, but our last two shows we sold 1200 tickets, so there's a pretty big crowd. I've seen Brady fight once before, but he lost pretty fast. He's not gonna last much longer with me either.

I won via armbar halfway through the second round

I can't really remember most of the fight, that guy hit me really fucking hard lol

I choked pretty hard too, my legs were jelly stepping into the ring, but I endured and finally got the submission.

It helped me not get anxious. Its a survival mechanism

I ended up having to fight a much tougher opponent. My original opponent didn't show up.

Oh shit, takes balls to take a fight on that short of notice. Probably not the only time youll have to do it though. Grats on the win, getting rocked must have sucked ass but at least you know you can come back from a big punch now (I guess you probably knew that from kickboxing but w.e)~

Ill make it next time~

Sorry for the blurry pictures, but Sarah's hands were shaking while she was taking them. Probably pretty unnerving to watch your boyfriend get punched in the head repeatedly.

I was relieved when the ring girl came over cause then there was somebody to hold me up. That's HIS blood on my shorts btw. I broke his nose while I had him in a triangle and it started gushing onto me and my shorts.

Me, my coaches, and my girl.

No shit? you guys are skiers!!!? hahaha, that's fucking awesome.

You will find kickboxing is excellent cross training for skiing.

Hey if you guys go down to hood sometime this summer you should let me tag along... or else! lol

but seriously, we should go, cause I only skied once this season.

Haha, now that I think about it, you guys totally look like skiers.

I want to see the video soooo bad, cause I really don't remember much, I just remember being very frustrated that he was so hard to choke. I'll try to post a video on my facebook in the next couple of days if possible.

Yeah it's been a lot of fun, uses all the little muscles that weight lifting doesn't get at as well. Now that I think about it you are missing a few teeth too ahahaha. definitely tag along when we head down there. I have no idea when/if we're going down there but I want to do some camping soo it's in the hopeful category.
