MLB BASEBALL 2013

Well 45000 Blue Jays tickets just sold out in less than 1 minute, that was pretty rediculous. But it just goes to show how pumped we are here.

Who do you like this season? Blue Jays are World Series favorites ;)

The Yankees have been just as stacked or more with players like these and havent won. Bautista is still a beast.

Upton brothers + Jason Heyward = arguable the best OF in the bigs. Getting stoked for this season.

Go Braves!

i'm not even a braves fan but i traveled down to philly to catch braves v phillies just to see chipper on his farewell tour. Love that guy.

It's becoming an annual tradition for blue jays fans on here to claim the jays are gonna win it all, only for them to finish 10+ games out of first.

I was working the day after Boston got hit with 20+ inches of snow last week. Really cool and strange to see Fenway under that much snow. Especially when we realized that in 2 months they'll be playing baseball again.

Hopefully the Reds can get over their shit ass showing in the playoffs last year.. Up 3-0 and blew it to the Giants

Dodgers! Highest payroll in baseball, buying a team worked for the Yankees for years, I hope it can work for us!

Also the A's for fielding one of the youngest and cheapest teams in the sport and still doing well.

And the cubs, hope they can win it at least once before I die, but I am not optimistic.

The cards were looking pretty good until Chris Carpenter started having problems again with his pitching arm (although he hasn't totally ruled out playing this year).

Braves now are favorites, I have no doubt i my mind the Jays will fail, The angles always come up short same with the dodgers, im thinking it will be between Nats, Giants, Tigers

What? Implying that a team is free of cost? Yankees had some solid players who stayed pretty loyal to new york... Jeter, posada, Matsui, etc..

Here's to hoping the Rockies lose less than 90 games this year! Also, my former high school head coach is now the Rockies head coach, so that's cool.

definitely! I just can't wait for games. Working other things at the ballpark is fun, but there's nothing that compares to a packed house for a sox game on a beautiful night. Best working environment in the world, despite all the actual work we still have to do.

= dream job? TOTALLY.

I watched a documentary on pbs about fenway and it was beyond fascinating. The fact that sometimes the field gets flooded and fish will wash up there, to the guy that has pretty much handled the entire park for over 30 years and has never seen a game.

oh yeah, we were all happy that donny, the maintenance guy got credit finally. He literally does everything in the park. There is no maintenance team...just him. It's funny too, middle of the winter we'll come in at 6am on a sunday for something, and he'll already be there working on something. The absolute unsung red sox hero.

I was actually in that documentary, very briefly. They try to keep our department out of the public eye though, for obvious reasons.

YES! That's him. Really though, it was an awesome documentary and one I must watch again.

See you in a few months!

the reds hit some serious speed bumps last year and still had a good run. hopefully things go as planned this year.

Go rox!! Helton DUI, don't matter. Going to the steel city to see the rox play the bucs. 2 true loves in baseball. Blake street bombers till I die.

I'm so excited for the season to start, I'll be heading down to seattle for all three games when the jays head west in august

i am a jays fan because i am canadian. hopefully all the guys that had career seasons can keep it up. hopefully joey bats can stay healthy. but..i am truly a tribe fan and they signed some bats this off season. nick swish, JASON GIAMBI????

should be interesting.

blue jays and expos.

WOOP

seriously though, stoked on the jays this season. it might take a year or two for them to really bond and become the team we expect them too, but it's going to be exciting as hell to see them with an actual complete team. every year i've watched them, it's either the power hitting that's great, the pitching that's great, the defense that's great, but never all of that together. i'm expecting them to be among the top of the league in starting pitching era, team batting average, slugging %, and errors committed per game.

cant fucking wait.

lol. Go on..

If you think a championship team needs to be made from random kids and good scouting then you're living in a 1970s dream world

a team shouldn't be based off how much money they make. A great team isn't born off of big name players that cost millions. Its about depth. Look at the Angels last year... they sucked ass and had Trout, Pujols, Torii Hunter, and Trumbo.

Spring Training starts today, Jays looking to find their starters vs Detroit. I think it's on TV!

I hope Morrow pitches like he can this year, he should be an ace

yeah that morrow guy I had never heard of until we played against him and he shut us out.

hopefully jason hamels has another great year and tommy hunter can keep it together so we can have some sort of a competitive starting pitching staff

Verlander and the Tiger's are gonna whoop' some serious dick this year.

Projected Line Up

1. Austin Jackson

2. Tori Hunter

3. Miguel Cabrera

4. Prince Fielder

5. Victor Martinez

6. Andy Dirks

So happy to see mo back for his final season on the mound. The rotation looks solid, but knowing the yanks, they will fuck it up again in the post season. All we can do is hope! Also I will be going to a Yankee game on May 18th against the Jays. Should be an easy win.

Yeah, just like last year in the playoffs where they got break after break and then got spanked in the world series
