whats up NS?

whos going to take it all?

who do you want to take it all?

whos gonna win specific match-ups?

Im not sure at this point

It would be awesome to see my home town Twinkies win

the twins lose in 4 to NY

(i searchbarred)

as a devout Twin's fan, I sincerely say that I hate the Yankees with all my heart. If we get past them the road is downhill from there, but getting past them is something that hasn't and in all likelihood will not happen. Thank you New York

I completely agree... it pisses me off to see Yankees and Phillies dominating every year just because of their check book.

when yanks charge $4.00-4000 a ticket, its easy to make money for those players. sucks you live in a shitty market that cant support the checks players want

I like the Twins but I have to say I want the Yankees to win solely because one of the pitching coaches for them used to be my pitching coach. He's friends with Joe Girardi so that's how he got the job. He hooked me and my bro up with nice ass seats when we were in new york and we gotta go down to the dugout and shit. It's the chillest job though, he's not the head pitching coach so he doesn't have huge responsibility but he just chills in the dugout, takes notes and packs dongers. Plus he makes mad bills

I live and breathe Twins baseball...I would love with all I got to see them win the World Series.

and with that...I don't care who wins the world series as long as its not the Yankees.

FUCK THE YANKEES.

I am about to get a tatoo of a baseball on my left shoulder and in it have it say "Fuck the Yankees."

So disappointing. First of why the fuck did Gardy leave Liriano in. Secondly we left way to many runners on base. They gave us are chances but we couldn't get hits when it counted. Finally the homeplate ump was super inconsistent all night. Crain pitched strike 5 before giving that 2 run homer to Texiera. Were still gonna pull it off.

With out a doubt we will pull it off...I'm headed to the game tomorrow and I can not wait...Section 104 row 22...look for me I'll have some sort of good sign.

and we truly did leave to many runners on base.

I also would have loved if Jim Thome would have tied the game on a home run when the ump blew the call on the out prior to his at bat.

GO TWINS!

also for the other two games today.

Great performance from Cliff Lee and the Rangers bats for taking it to David Price and the Rays.

Also for anyone who watched it (or missed it). History was made tonight with Roy Halladay becoming the second pitcher to throw a no-hitter in the post season. Also the first person ever to pitch a no hitter in the regular season and post season. Amazing job by him and the Phillies.

I gotta cheer on my SF Giants! I would love to see them just get past the Braves. That's all I'm worried about right now. If we make it to the NLCS, I will be beyond stoked. If we make it to the World Series- I will be crying out of joy. If we win the world series- I shouldn't be getting ahead of myself here. If we play cool and take it one step at a time, we could have a good shot at going far. We just need to get runs. If we can't get some runs up there, we're fucked, but if we get runs up there and our pitching stays good, we could have a good shot.

yanks vs phillies. halladay's no hitter was ridiculous, i can't believe i witness that shit happen. i remember hearing about his perfect game over the summer and being like, "wat"

im with you there, brother. i watched that game start to finish, and god damn he's good. as a long time jays fan, i've had the pleasure of watching him for a long time, and it's great to see him playing where he belongs, on a winning team, and completely dominating

I'd love to see my Braves do well and send Bobby out on a high note. But unfortunately we have looked like garbage for the last month of the season and were pretty lucky to even make it in as the wild card. We have not been hitting well, the Phils beat us 5 out of the last 6 we played em, and everyone is looking like they are out of gas. Hopefully the 3 day rest before tonight will help them get back on track but we'll see.

Go Braves!

I'm a diehard Giants fan, but I really wouldn't mind seeing the Braves win, just because I would love to see Bobby end his career on a high note, but with that being said, I really want my Giants to win.

Yanks are going to beat the Twins but Im not too excited about playing the Rays or Texas. The Rays can beat us and when Texas is on they are on. Hamilton is a beast. That being said if the Yanks can get some good pitching going they can beat both teams.

The Phillies are the best team in baseball. Pitching wins games in the playoffs and well, they have the best. Their offense is pretty damn good too.

Just droppin by....headed up to minneapolis/target field in a bit. I'd like to say a couple things.

FUCK THE YANKEES!!!!!

and

FUCK THE YANKEES!!!!!

can't wait for broad street to explode when the phillies win again. it's a good time to live in philly, that's for sure.

I agree to an extent. Here is the 2010 MLB payroll for all 30 teams http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/salaries/teams
Now number one is pretty obvious hahahaha, but look at the top 10. Specifically, look at where the Cubs fall, who have a pretty high payroll as well. I think there is just a huge problem of poor spending by teams that can afford a high payroll. Even the Mariners are pretty high up there and they sucked ass this last season. However, most of their sucking was because of poor free agent/trade selections.
But I see that a salary cap would help the lower payroll teams for this reason: Top payroll teams always will steal low payroll teams by the fact they can offer much larger/appealing contracts to them. So, yeah, I agree and I'm a Yankee fan just to clear hahaha. What annoys me about my team is that they spend so much and still lose some pretty stupid games. With how much they spend, winning should be just expected with the roster they have. And when they lose, that just shows how much better and more focused the other team is.

FUCK THE YANKEES.

I will never EVER credit any Yankee. Not mariano, not jeter not any of them. Fuck them all.

and fuck new york in general.

I really hope more is added to instant replay. If anyone watched the Little League World series, they got it right with the replay rules they set up. Each challenge took all of about 1-2min, and 6 of 13 challenges were overturned. To me that's crazy that almost 50% of questionable calls end up being wrong. If Little League can do this, why not MLB? I feel it doesn't make any difference that it was Little League either. Shitty calls happen at the MLB level all the time, and seems like more games are won/lost in question every year. A win with bullshit calls just doesn't feel like a win, and the same goes for a loss.
*LL Replay Rules: Each team gets one challenge each. If a call is challenged, and the umps were wrong, then that team gets to still challenge calls. However, if they are wrong with their challenge, then they lose challenging privileges for the rest of the game (but can reacquire ability to challenge calls in the case of extra innings).

Your team is getting fucked by the Yankees. I was really hoping for a Rays-Yankees ALCS, but it looks like the Rangers are mounting the Rays right now and I can't see the Rangers winning the ALCS. I can't stand the whole AL in general.

NL- Reds will be boned by the Phillies and I can't call the Giants/Braves outcome, but that was one hell of a game tonight.

Well I guess those few days off did nothing for our offense...although I gotta give Tim some credit, he threw a hell of a game, complete game shut out with 13Ks I believe ugh. It really sucked that the game was won by that blown call at second base, Posey was gunned down and the ump missed it. But hey, Omar's gotta make that play at third with 2 out and a runner in scoring position and you're not going to ever win a post season game with 2 hits so I can't dwell on it. Gotta forget it and get the damn bats going tonight.

Go Braves!
