ML creates Dual ISO - New Dynamic Range for 5D3 and 7D

Just saw online that ML has come out with a new DR improvement for the 5D3 and 7D. Check it out here:

Obviously its still in its early stages but what do you guys think about this new improvement from ML?

I'll have to see some comparisons first, given :

Price to pay[/b]

- Half resolution in highlights and shadows

- Aliasing and moire - of course, in highlights and shadows

Good if you're on a super tight budget I guess...

In the end you're just going through a hassle to achieve something that doesn't fully function. There's more important things you could be doing with your camera.

Like what? They're taking some serious steps to get the most out of these tiny cameras.

Studying composition, colour, value, focal points, subject matter, narrative, action, and such. Fundamental stuff is important too

Thought this was a joke, now I see the 7d only does it in photo mode? That's a ridiculous letdown yet again, really don't see much of an advantage, if any, of doing this instead of raw for photos.
