Mix & Matching bindings

Ive seen a few edits now that have people who mounted two different bindings together on a ski (Look pivot toe pieces and FKS heels). It looks pretty sick but would it cause any issues?

with an identical binding like fks/pivot not really. With other bindings you have to worry about stack height being different though.

They used to sell toe and heel pieces separately. My dad said he used to always have look toe pieces and marker turntable heels.

I have one black look pivot 180 toe mixed with the rest of my orange fks 180 set...as long as the bindings are the same it won't matter. And since FKS and Pivot are the exact same binding with different branding, it's ok.

Now if you were to put a Griffon toepiece with STH heels, that wouldn't work.

only way i've ever mixed my bindings was when i broke my griffon heelpiece from one ski last season. now that pair has one griffon and on veeery scetchy and old rossi pro 180 which is basically fks. and they still ski good.

people used to run solly 916 toes with FKS heels sometimes. dont waste your time though.

all look/rossi stuff is interchangable
