Want to ask for some steezy warm mittens for the holidays. Anybody know some sick, thick mittens to ask for? Thanks NS!

It hurts to say but the warmest mittens I've owned were burton. Now I use some Swaney leathers but I wish I still had those burtons!

Look in the gear thread i'm sure you'll find something. Wouldn't suggest saga I had auclair mittens that keep me warm. Try and see what kids from the midwest are using since its coldest there.

Thanks bro! I'll check those things out. +K

We have warm mittens in a couple different colors. I like the Do Work color.

Good thread.

Gloves suck. I have the nice fancy leather US Ski Team Reucsch gloves and on a day I only had 1 layer under a non insulated jacket and it was 35 and rainy leaving my condo my hands got cold when it was a bit windy and snowy on the lift though I wasn't cold myself. WTF? You don't stand a chance if you don't let your fingers have strength in numbers and stick together.

Lobster mitts ftw. Almost as warm as mittens and you can still snag your grabs all day

Celtek has always been super quality to me. I personally get hot hands so I use pipe mittens all winter long and usually no gloves in summer/spring

flylow oven mitts

I don't know what you are looking for in the "steez" department but flylows are $40 are ridiculously durable, ridiculously warm and simple if that's what you are in to. Hands down the greatest mittens

Hestra is the best glove/mitten maker on the market. Though expensive.

I do have some Dakines which are really really nice. Still nothing compared to Hestra

Hestra does make some great products. But I don't like to use my mitts a whole lot cause I'm afraid I'll trash them. And they are very expensive.

When I do need a pair of mittens to trash, I'll use a pair of kinco leather mittens.

stay away from candy grinds worst gloves i have ever owned they held up but were so shitty for keeping heat in. ive seen a lot of people with the armada mittens and ill probably be picking them up heard good things about em

We use mostly leather gloves or else the tow rope just tears em' apart after a few days plus their pretty warm too

Ive never had a problem with my candygrind mittens. honestly the best pair ive ever own. theyre super warm and keep my hands dry really well.

Kinco Axeman are by far the warmest and cheapest mittens I've ever owned. I don't really like mittens for comp runs because I can't 2 finger grab while still holding my poles, but they're great for cold days. I got mine for like $12.

I have the north face montana mitt (i think thats the name) and they are warm as shit. Then i have the same thing but gloves and they are just as warm.

in reality pretty much any mitten will keep you warm because you got all the heat from your fingers. all you should worry about is waterproofing. I just use a pair of kincos that I waterproofed
