Goddamn, how did I miss this earlier? Most talented, well rounded Superunknown for a long time, I'm thoroughly impressed!

that was an awesome edit, one of the only super unknown winners i actually agree should win. he's got good style too, that kinda sloppy but still smooth, natural style. nice to see today where everythings so damn forced.

Well deserved. Was hoping he would win ever since his edit dropped. Such a well rounded skier with some much style. Can't wait to see what he puts out with Level 1 in the future.

When I saw his entry for the first time, I was hopeful that he should win. Well deserved, looking forward to seeing him slay it soon.

To me, it's the first winner of superunknown in the past couple of years that was actually unknown. I hope and I'm sure he can put out a good enough segment to open or close one of Level 1's movies in the next couple of years

His edit was sick, but he does not have the same creativity that Brower or some of the other guys have.

Exactly, Whipple had some of the best tricks out but Brower's creativity really gave him the x factor to win and fit in with the level one crew

Whipple had the creativity, the lack of snow in tahoe kept him from having enough urban in his edit.

His Superunknown video entry was definitely a stand out from the beginning. There were no other entries that entirely rivaled his in terms of urban jibbing abilities and the massive backcountry airs he took. The combination of the two was also impressive. However, he clearly brought more skills to Snoqualamie than most people would have expected, outlasting typical park skiers at their own game. And it looks like he did it with guardians. Happy he won. He'll be around with the L1 crew for awhile.

If you go just a little further, you'll be able to taste his balls too.

The ski industry, at least the "edit" making side, its going to take a big turn for the better, superunknown is a perfect example, where creativitly and/or style is more important than tech, up to a certain point at least

It's for sure a trend right now where people prefer style/creativity over tech, but I think it's up to the skier to chose what he prefers to do, and what's more important for him, it's not up to the skiing world to decide. If everyone would focus on style/creativity it would be boring, and IMO, there can be a lot of creativity in tech skiing. I think the most fun thing while watching skiing is seeing new stuff, weither it's tech, style, or creativity, and Mitchell Brower definitely brought some new tricks/ideas to the table with his SU.

Mitchell is a super cool dude who killed it on every feature the whole week through! He most definitively deserved the win.

i know im late to this, but just saw his superunknown edit and damn is it good. as far as fun and creative urban goes, thats the best seg ive seen all year. well maybe ahmet...banks killed it too. fuck i dont know
