Hey Guys, please help me !

What are Mistys, Corks and Rodeos????

Is a cork 5 just a normal 5 with the axis toppled towards the jump/back.

Is a rodeo, if u do a lincoln and start the rotation when u r upside down.

please help me out

A cork is an offaxis spin. A rodeo is a lincoln loop to 180. Thats a rodeo 5. A rodeo 7 is a lincoln 360..... A misty 720 is a frontflip with a 360 all together.

yea, but the flip and spin are blended together in all of those, it's not the flip and than the spin.

im confused on what a d spin is exactly, i know its like a corked 360 to backflip, but like is that really it? i think someone should fill out the tricktonary.

a d-spin is a corked 3 to backflip, but the backflip is usally corked. Look closely at a d-spin, you'll notice they come out of them with their feet goin over their head, and then look at a cork spin and you should be able to see the difference.

oh my god, where do you guys come up with these things, seriously!! hahahahaha a dspin is off axis double full. basically it's quite simple. do a cork 7 but go upside down. theres no backflipping involved.

Oh shit here it goes.

A full of any sort is on the axis of complete vertical. Meaning that you flip from the mid point (your hips) and rotate around that. So basically your flipping in a straght up and down axis. now, an off axis back full would mean that the axis is no longer straight up and down but a little tilted but there is still a point of inversion.

All I can say to further prove my point is that if your going to try a '360 to backflip' your not going to do a dspin.

although a rodeo then a 540 could still be called a rodeo 1080, and has beacause johnny moseley did one at his invitational just like that and they called it a rodeo 1080

If you should listen to anyone, it is Detective.....I've seen him ski and, believe me, he knows what he is talking about.

 
well i know a d-spin is throwing your right side of your body over your left or visa versa... anyhow but after you do this like going cork you throw your feet higher above you than in a corkspin... In a corkspin you don't throw your feet over your head but more to just in front of you. A D-spin is becomming horizontal to the ground doing a 360 then flipping over yourself.... i can't really remember if i flip backward or sidways but i am pretty sure its backwards... and misty is throw your right arm/shoulder down across to the left foot and spinning a 540 or 720 while you flip. Rodeo is one of the easiest jumps out there other than lincoln i think... Rodeo is Drop your left shoulder and throw your right knee foot over your left shoulder and spinning a 540 720 while almost flipping.... a rodeo technically should not be inverted. same with a misty..... you go almost all the way upside down but never tottaly upside down.... However your knees will go above your head and it could get u DQed in a comp sadly

 
oooh and not to sound cocky or anything i can do those tricks so u know someone with experience telling you how and what they are :) sorry i really don't mean to sound cocky or anything about it

With only a tiny variation in the angle of rotation vertically as compared to horizontally, the way the cross or grab is set, or the way the skier is looking, yes children: A misty can be a rodeo, a rodeo can be a lincoln 180, a lincoln 180 can be a flatspin, a flatspin can be a bio, a bio can be a D-spin, a D-spin can be a corked, and a corked can be a misty! It's a vicious circle and we're all going around it! For example... what if we knew that Jon Reedy's 'd-spins' were actually just corked 7s made to look like D-spins?! muhahahahahahahaha
