Mistake in Freeskier?

In the awards issue, the mandatory huck page features sean pettit's 'rodeo 7' but if you look at the sequence shot it is clear that pettit is riding out switch which leads me to believe that he really threw a rodeo 9. Anyone else notice this?

i thought the same thing until i read it a few more times and looked over the sequence again. It says something about him not landing clean and like "stopping dead in his tracks" on his first try. It looks to me like a not-clean-I'm-kinda-still-spinning-but-I'm-trying-to-land-at-the-same-time landing and oops! now i'm backwards again...landing.

If you watched In Deep it would make sense. He landed at 7 and kind of bomb holed and it spun him around to switch for a second and then he ate shit, if that makes sense. He crashes shortly after the last frame in that sequence. But, he was really close to landing the seven, and then really close to riding out switch after he landed.
