they said this was going to happen last year, but was called off. I guess it's happening again which is fucking sweet because I was so excited for it
 
It's literally mind-blowing what the human mind is capable of. What we as human beings can push ourselves to do is amazing.
 
i can't even understand how he's going to go from supersonic speeds to using a parachute. he must have some sort of drag shoot to slow him down first, or like a series of chutes.
 
well he'll break the sound barrier when he is outside the dense atmosphere. Once he hits the high concentration of air that will slow him down considerably, and then I think there is a parachute called a louge or something that slows him down and then when he's going slow enough a full canopy will be deployed
 
its because they are geniouses of marketing. Just do the coolest shit imaginable and a ton of people will buy your product
 
I think in the earlier vids when they were talking about the suit it has like 8 chutes or something that are quick releasing so they just slow him a little each time one pulls
 
Been looking forward to this for a long time. I like that they involved the guy who holds the record too. Seems like a smart decision to talk to a guy who's actually done it before.
