Missing skiing

so yes, its summer. and i haven't skied for almost 2 months. im starting to get really itchy and whenever my friends ask me what i want to do i say i want to go skiing. now i keep randomly thinking i have skis on my feet in the middle of the day and the dreams about skiing won't stop.

I need to go skiing!

Anyone feel the same?

Sorry, I couldn't resist. But seriously, as if we needed reminding.

Based off your name, I would say you're from alaskaish, so I think good alternatives could include:Fly fishingNature WalksRock Climbing (also known as technical nature walks)Welding (to learn how to make baller backyard setups)Sailing (potentially)Writing incessantly annoying letters to your governerTrying to deface your governor's reputation (I believe when she was a judge at your slush cup would have been a good opportunity) (like seriously, just jump on her naked, make her look like a lesbo and then all the conservatives would abandon her) (her daughters pretty fit if youre into girls)

Yeah, I got shin splints in April and had to lay off the skiing until late May / early June where I only got to go about 4 times to just hit some rails since that was all that was left (doctor's orders). So really my season ended in April. But I think everybody on this site is feeling the lack of skiing right now. The snow will come back though. So hang tight!

yeah we all do....this why were on this site so much

and alaska? sadly you probably have more cool stuff to do then alot of us

Okay to you and B-runge, it was not my decision to stop. My parents wouldn't allow me to go to Momentum this summer unless they fully healed. They didn't think they would heal on time since they are parents so believe me...I tried to tell them they would. And if I went skiing and they found out, there was no camp for me. So take your pick. Summer ski camp or no summer ski camp?

I don't see the big dilemma here. I'm always stoked when winter ends. Summer time in Alaska is rad! The Sun doesn't set until midnight and we have all these uncharted forests to explore!

Well that's all fine and good for you

priviledged enough to live in the beautiful region of Alaska, or anyone else surrounded by mountains, but have you even visited the praries!? There's barely anything fun here! Even drivivg your car here is boring!! You'll be craving snow as if it were meth covered cigarettes!

/insanity rant

yeee! i love solstice festivities. midnight frolf followed by camping is in the agenda.

i miss skiing as much as the next kid here, but that doesnt mean there arent fun things to do!

I was driving the other day and i had a strong urge to slide the rear end of my car while driving and pivot on the front of my car like a nose butter... weird.

Solstice Festival in Chickaloon... holy shit. It was Forest Fair x 10, with live music and naked people walking around.
