Missing Pet success stories?

So currently, my cat, who is a super-homie, is missing. He never has tried venturing outside any further than my backyard, and now it is raining and dark, and he is still not back. I searched my house and walked around the block a few times and no sign of him.

Has anyone else lost a pet and have some (Hopefully) successful stories??

My friend once didn't see his cat for 10 weeks, then she returned a fat bastard, walked inside, and shat out six adorable kittens.

She got knocked up.

My cat has always been an outdoor cat, and is outside for almost all of the day in the summer, and a decent amount in the winter, like he'll be outside for 6 hours, come back in, have some food and water, and peace again 5 minutes later. Anyways, we moved about a year and a half ago, but stayed in the neighbourhood. My cat was super sketched out in the new house, as cats are, and after about two weeks he finally ventured into the backyard. Sometime in the evening, my mom is worried because he hasn't come back yet and he's been out for a solid 8+ hours. The next day, after fearing he got lost or eaten, we get a call from the lady that bought our old house, asking if our cat was missing. Turns out my fucking bro of a cat made the kilometre trek from our new house to our old house, having to cross over a busy ass street where people go 60km/h.

He's such a legend.

one time my cat dissappeared for 2 weeks without a trace, just came back one day. then a couple years later got mauled by a coyote. Rest. In. Pepperoni. Socks the cat.

Spike (cat) ran away. 2 yrs later a spike look alike (not the real spike) showed up at door. Not the real spike=close enough. Cat acquired

Animals are insane dude. Glad you got him back.
