Howdy NS, our 23/24 inventory of skis will be ready to ship out by the end of October. We are stoked to expand our size run and drop a new model this season (The 96). Thanks to everyone who has pre-ordered so far and for all the hype from the community. While we wait for skis to arrive, ask us anything about the skis, the company, the people. NOW INFUSED WITH 30% MORE SWERVETECH THAN PREVIOUS SEASON ??????????

i fuckin suck at using the search bar on here so it might already be a thing but if not, can we get a roofbox review??

diggin the profile with the widest part of the ski being closer to the rocker.

the digital rendition make the rocker and shape look a bit ‘pointy’. can you throw up some pics of actual skis showing off the rocker profile and the shape??

How does it feel that literally the only reason i’ve heard of you is from a rampant narcissist, problematic, homophobe, racist named X_Ankilla who promotes your skis yet you claim to disavow.

Big reviews like that are a little out of our reach for a while. But eventually plan on it. Here’s a good photo of the OG shape. This years will be very similar.

what is the rocker profile on the 96 comparable to?

The 96 is a very traditional true twin, but with our fat camber and side cut. But think like a Blend or Reckoner

We can’t and won’t control who buys our product. We also care more to make a solid product than to dwindle in internet politics. Don’t buy them if you don’t like that. The swerve tech is fire tho

Here’s the CAD for the 106. The red is this years update and the white was last years OG model to show shape comparison.

So the 96 has a less dramatic rocker profile than the 106? Like could you compare the 2?

Edit: IG I'm asking if the 96 is just a slimmed-down 106 or a different ski completely

What happened to the school of mines ski making club one of you guys started. Is the ski press still around because we are trying to start it up again.

This is a fantastic answer honestly

does the tip and tail shape have function or is it primarily for aesthetics? i bet capped nose and tail grabs look extra steezy. anyone got a pic of that??

It in theory is a slimmed down 106. Once skis arrive ill make sure to send a direct comparison of shape and flex between the two models.

Its actually the most revolutionary thing done in ski design after the releasable binding. (Mostly for steeze, got you to ask about it too, waiting to see someone fully cap some insane tricks, aka someone please cap the shit out of them)

Also check the website www.misfitskis.com to check out all of the graphics to answer your other question.

The club itself never actually had a press of its own. DM me on insta @skiiiian if you want me to help you guys through the process of building one though.

I'll see what I can do!!

It helps you lock into wheelies better, and if you lean far enough back you can use the shape to balance and carve during wheelies

calling a tail press a wheelie just aint it for me lol.

anyway, i can see that being accomplished by the rocker profile with the relatively abrupt rocker. i would imagine that shape would allow you to make the tip and tail a bit stiffer while still being able to get deep in a press thus allowing for more stability while buttering. my bet is you lose so performance in pow and an even more drastic effect with carves. none of which i was actually inquiring about lol i just meant the capped U shape. i guess it would distribute weight more

to the outside vs center which would be good if the base was pretty flat. my mind wants to say that sound less stable if trying to carve?? idk but the shape is so fuckin intriguing and im stoked to see this venture and how it performs and evolves with more and more feedback.

Would Misfit be willing to do an industry employee/pro deal type program? I wanna try them but im on the east coast so demos are kinda out of the picture (unless I magically wake up in Denver one day)
