I just picked this camera off of my dad with a few rolls of film. Does anyone know what the "O" means on the shutter speed dial? So far I've been shooting on "A" which I understand to be aperture priority but I assumed that the "O" basically sets the shutter speed accordingly.

Does any of this make sense? I guess bottom line I'll find out if my exposures workout after I get them developed.

just using google, "Electronically controlled stepless shutter speeds from 1/1000 to 1 second for automatic modes plus stepped speeds from 1/1000 to 1 second plus “B” in metered manual mode. “X” sync setting for 1/100 sec, plus fully mechanical operation at “O” (1/100 sec) and “B”."

Thanks dude, I read that when I was searching around but I wasn't sure if the I interpreted that correctly. The "O" stands for (1/100sec)? or does it stand for an automatic shutter speed according to the metering mode?

i think that it means you set the exposure completely manually. like you don't even get metering, so you're pretty much guessing at the exposure. i don't really understand it either...
