The point of this thread is pretty self explanatory, to find the best MN rails. If you can post as much info as possible that would be the best. Type of rail, Location, Picture if you have it and whatever else you can think of. This is so that us skiers can hit the best rails in the state and know where to look when they want to find them

The List so far...

Normandale community college ------ Down Flat Down

Rosemount high school-------------Long down rail

Pilot knob (PK) and Cliff-------------Flat rail

Ditrict 196 office off diamond path rd---Down Rail

St. Olaf college--------------------Rails everywhere... lots

New horizon's off of 140th st---------Quad kink

PK pass cliff right on wescott---------Down Rail (near the cops)

PK --> eagan civic center right side----Down Rail

2nd st and 3rd ave. downtown--------Down Flat

Holy angels academy------------ ---Rusty rails all over

494 past Fury Motors on the right---- -7 kink and Down flat Down

PK to Yankee doodle (YD), Blue Cross---Down flat Down, Flat rails

St. Paul's Cathedral--------------- -Ridiculous rails everywhere

Thresher Park in Eagan off YD------- -Amazing Flat rail (see Pic)

I also wanted to add Eden Prarie High School with a sick down Flat down

and if you go north toward the airport and you take HWY 5 right before the airport itself there is a pretty dece down rail which looks good for Prtzls!

Also The Eagan High School rails are dope... they have some crazy rails that have been in some legit movies.

Theres a sick down flat down by this parking ramp off of londonderry road by 169 close to the border of hopkins and edina, and if i remember right theres a few good ones at golden years school by the border of edina and slp
 
yeah thats sick!!

I found some cool ones on nicollet island when I was getting senior pics done. There was a ridiculously perfect Down Flat Down right on the island, like near a pavilion. And theres a sick line of rails next to the aster cafe. ones is like a quick 7 kink and then it has a straightaway and like 255 yards down there a super sick fat just straight mellow down rail

Hwy 55 in Plymouth, maybe a mile east on 55 of the 55/494 intersection. I think its 55 and Larch Rd, but there is a kid's school with a down rail in the front. Maybe 35 feet, and its not very tall so building a ramp is easy. Lots of inrun space, and at night nobody is in the parking lot where it runs out. I've seen lights and generators set up, some snowboarders film there occasionally. Its really exposed to hwy 55, but i've never had cop trouble
 
haha yeah its pretty hi-profile, and the guys that work there have called the cops right away. they are not too pumped on it...but few are right...

true story I used to work as a janitor at that kids school when I was in high school. lots of hilarious stories about that place. i can confirm that people are there all the time to session it. Never seen anyone with generators though
 
I go to school at Delasalle and run XC there, I know every rail on that Island inside and out. Plymouth ave, north bank of the river, most beautiful mellow DFD ever. I'm trying to hit it this winter.
 
Also the quick 7 kink got removed for now, they're rebuilding the steps. The steps still have the same structure, but they might knob the rail when they rebuild it. I'll give an update when they rebuild it.
 
okay now, last reply for me. sorry i had to go 4 in a row but here's a current picture of the two rails masteezus mentioned that were torn down and rebuilt. The 10 kink and flat rail, but the flat rail got rebuilt into a dropper. 661838.jpeg 661837.jpeg
