Mini Disk vs. Ipod

well right now im stuck with a cd player and need a new music device. I heard that ipods' batteries die within a year or 2 but they hold way more songs than a mini disk. Yet the mini disk you can replace teh batteries. Sooo i dont know which one to get. What do you reccomend?

 
Get a Nomad Zen. Same space as the ipod, for less price and i personally like the setup better, and the OS doesn't rarely crash like the Ipod does.

id say minidisk too, because its a removable disk that can hold 5 hours of music... and seriously, how oftan do you listen to 5 hours solid? and if you did you could just pop in another disk.

ipods the way to go. ive broken it, smashed it skiing all the goods, and they have given me a new one each time as long as i send the old one it. the bateries have never died and i had one of them for about 2 years. you can move games, movies, pictures, programs and other stuff on them, and its got all the normal goods like allarms, callenders, adress book etc. definiatly the way to go.

 
lovin the spelling too. check out small dog electronics for factory refurbished ipods, they can get some sweet deals.

 
I am a strong Minidisc Fan myself. check out www.minidisco.com for the most advanced minidisc players/recorders from japan.

but if you do get a mp3 player don;t get a Ipod! get the Nomad Zen or somthing else. I saw a 1.5 gb mp3 player that was smaller in size than a minidisc player at Best Buy that looked awsome! check that one out!

i also have an ipod...not only do they hold more music but its also a mini hard drive...pictures, text documents, anything u want can be trasfered...downloadable games and updates....so many things u can get for it too, such as am/fm radio ect...burton even makes a backpack for them with contoll buttons on the shoulder

pretty sure the same with the NOmad zen, i like it wayy better, and there cheaper.
