Minecraft on Xbox?

Why are guys your age playing minecraft? I understand why younger kids love it, but if you are into the sandbox genre, I believe at ++ 16 years old, games like minecraft could be easily traded for something way more mature to spend all that creativity. EX: 3D modeling with 3DS Max or Blender (free).

Feel free to object, just my 0.2 cents. Every person I met who play minecraft had very immature behaviors.
 
im 18, i just play to build cool things i think up and want to visualize. its like playing with legos: most people who use them are kids, but some people are just looking for something easy to make models with.
 
i dunno i just like to make stuff and destroy it. i have skyrim and its all good and fun but sometimes i get into a creative mode.
 
shaddup u know its sick, im making the sicket faction base right now on my server. has an auto farm that is 50 blocks wide and 100 blocks long. soooo much fun.
 
Minecraft is the the most complex yet simple games ever. There is no age limit because there is so many different things to do and different ways to expand. Its almost like real life in the fact that we haven't discovered every possible way of doing things or being more efficient in certain areas. I think it's cool that they are bringing it to the console and I'm excited to see where that goes.
 
Also called a Sandbox game, its not the first one. I just don't get why you would spend all that creativity on a silly video game.
