We have a buttload of those at gander right now. I want to pick one up. They also gave me a bayonet to a mosin a couple weeks ago.

My grandpa gave me his aircraft identification cards that he carried in WWII and a bandoleer.

I also have a WWII helmet and backpack.
 
You can get them cheaper at other places but gander marks everything up a bit.

from what ive seen, thats not a bad price at all if they are in decent conditon.
 
I get that its cool to own a peice of history and all but for double the money you can get something that wasnt built 70 years ago.

I guess i just view my guns the same as i do tools. Why would i buy a drill from 1940 when for double the money I can get a brand new one that can do way more.

That said id take one of these if someone gave it to me

because plastic 5.56 guns are gay. Old bolt action rifles outshoot a lot of newer ones.

My ak, obviously not, 5.56 outclasses the gun in the OP from 100 yards and in all day long. My 30-06 for anything past.

Like i said, id take one for fun but id only buy one after i was set for guns that i deem to serve a purpose if i need them to.

That gun doesnt excel at anything anymore.

the k31 is insanely accurate, it will outshoot a 30-06 at anythimg past 100 yards. most automatic and semi-automatic old milsurp guns are definetely outclassed but some of these old bolt actions are really incredible.
