Million little pieces full of shit

So if any of you have read the book a million little pieces you would know that it was disturbing and a page turner, a very good read. Well i just found out most of the book was very exagerated and that his girlfriend didnt hang herself at the end, she just cut her wrists, no this book isnt about suicide, but that he was only in jail for like 2 days instead of the 3 months or whatever, it was on the news

i'm so pissed off right now. I was soo stoked on that book and "my friend Leonard" now i'm just dissapointed, kinda like if my parents told me i was really adopted.

it was such a good book, it was like one of oprahs choices or something, he was on her show, its about a drug addict who wakes up on a plane not remembering the past two weeks and has a hole in his mouth, he doesnt know how he got on the plane or where hes going, when he lands he meets his parents and they take him to the best drug facility in the country, it was such a good book

haha, well he didnt make everything up just exaggerated which still sucks but yeah i never read my friend leonard

the whole book wasn't lies it was mainly his life in rehab and shit and that was all true. my friend leonard was pretty dank too

Its kind of a let down knowing that its not entirely true...I read it for my psych class and really liked it and had a couple of my friends read it too

bummerrrr

but that stuff isn't really what the book is about. it is about overcoming addiction and shit. it barely tarnishes how good the book is by those flaws.

epic book..the craziest part is when he's at the dentisst getting root canals with anesthesia. Kind of a let down though because the dentist part might no be real.

yeah i read the book before it was on oprah and did i ever say how i was crying about how some of it was exaggerated, no, so chill the fuck out, and whoever says books are a load of crap i feel sorry for you

who cares it was a killer story and as the auther he has the right to change things its his artistic right. he just should have labeled the based on a true story in stead of laeling it as a memoir.

Who cares if it's exxagerated? The whole thing could have been fictional, just plucked out of some writer's head, and you still would have liked it.

the point is that he wrote it as a memoir. had he said this is my trip through rehab as i remember it, or say it was based on events thats a different story. the book was fiction and he claimed it to be his memoir.

so yeah, now that you said something i went out and bought it and so far i am very pleased... it's so messed up but you can't turn away.
