I like him cuz hes got original style, and cuz hes a chill guy. Ive skiid w/ him 3-4 times and hes always been real nice..plus hes pushing the sport in right ways with siver.

I thought the skis made you good. I got the skis and it turned out I was wrong. It must be the clothes.

uhhhh well not really but he is better than me so i should shut up. but he kinda poses off of pollard, but mike founded siver, so it all kinda evens out

i like him. i've watched him from 4 yrs ago at mt snows x games skiboarding to the transition to skiing. when i heard rumors that he was switching to skis i was so happy b/c he was my favorite skiboarder and he definately is still one of my favorite skiers.

a.) his style is way different than other skiers and its unique and hes clean.. i dont wanna hear any gripes about that.

b.) hes a good guy in general.. you really cant judge someone till you actually meet them and most pros are good guys and are like us .. just better at what they do.

c.) obviously he is smart by starting his own business so there are three reasons why he is cool in my book.

people who rake on him are dumb if they havent met him.

how did he pose off of pollard? just curious cuz that made no sense at all. And i dont really think tanner or cr did either i think tanner is just trying to look like a skater/boarder. And if you think so 90% of the other riders all had the same style as tanner so did that mean they all posed off of him??

i am pretty positive you are wrong about that. There is way more than 10% of newschoolers that were skiboarders.

i met mike nick this summer..... i like him he is a great guyand one of the few pros who gave me any real respect

I'll admit it, yah I used to fruitboot. This is my second season skiing all the way. But anyways, Mike Nick is a pretty cool guy to ride with.

 
I agree fully with the 3 things BryanGallant said but style is a subjective thing, and there are some of us, myself included who do not particularily like his style, original or not.

I think there is a lot of jealousy. Jealousy that mike Nick could kick any one of your asses in skiing the park. You may not like his style, but at least he's oiginal and not just doing the same old thing. I have tremendous respect for him. And as for the fruitboot comment... that is just ignorance and stupidity. I have never skiboarded, but still, if that's what someone wants to do, then props to them. Whoa m I to tell another person what length they should be skiing because It's coller to ski longer skis?

And here I thought our sport was over that bullshit...

who cares what size skis he rides skiing is skiing heis better than everyone here so until your better than him don't dis him. by the way i ski on 184's and 182's

 
people on here talk about the most ridiculous stuff. i read this site for news and trailers and stuff. but all this talk of what you think of some particular pro, and how pro-x copies off of pro-y, it's just dumb. Every skier that's in movies is better than 90% of the people here, and that's just a fact. No reason to talk shit on them.

At killington this weekend i heard someone say that they heard dumont was an asshole. This may or may not be true, but considering the smallness of the 'hip' there the kid was throwing decent tricks on it, and it looked good too. When I saw him just riding from the lift, it looked like he really knew how to ski too. why not make more comments like that and less comments about why people suck?
