Mikael Deschneaux is one of the smoothest skiers out there, he can pull a cab 10 with crazy ass style, do 270 nosepress 270's out, but no one really gives any credit, Dynastar gives him no pro model even though he can school the rest of the team which leaves im underated. Does anyone agree with me?

I fully agree man, I've never understood why he doesn't get more recognition. I also wish he would have longer segments in videos

He's one of the most talked about skiers on this site, so he's certainly not underrated on NS.

his segments are short cause he lives in switzerland and only comes down to the us a couple times a year thats why his segments are short and that they have the same tricks, but i heard that this year he stayed here for a long time tio film with eric iberg

He just wants to chill, he has what it takes to be in the spotlight but doesn't really choose to go into it. He has been more into it the past years though. He'll never stop killing it either.

I hate his torpedo grab/style. Howevre I adore his smoothness and flow and stomped landings, when he does not torpedo tricks it makes me poop.

the problem with mikael is he doesnt get very much exposure. now with a company like dynastar, its not in their best interest to give him a pro model over people like the phils (who have also been around for a much longer time) who compete more, but also are photographed and filmed more.

its a business right, not the just most deserving athelete.

Those that wonder why Mick is not in many movies need to understand that it is not b/c people don't want him in the flicks, it is because he likes to hang out and chill. It is the same reason why he snowboards at parkasaurus every year. He threw that switch 10 at the US Open only once before.....the year before. Never even tried it in the 365 days between. His natural ability is so far beyond anyones understanding, but because he will not train or focus, he will always be a mystery. Without question, the best rider I have ever riden with. If he had the drive of some of the other guys......fughetaboutit. Game over.

i say fuck him. i used to like him a lot, he was my favorite. back in stereotype he was just a whooole lot stylier. his 180 to unnaty 3 to 5 blunt shots are the styliest tricks ever.

mickeal is the best rider in my opinion, the best style in skiing, and he's so smooth, def. deserves a pro model before anyone on that team.

mickael is defenitely the best in my opinion but it seems like he is lazy and self absorbed. I keep hearing about his lack of segments, and living in europe is part of it, but he doesnt go out if the day isnt nice and therefore misses film and photo opportunities.

my god, i cant stand some of you morons. Mikael was ALWAYS a stylist, and was ALWAYS a good skier, and people ALWAYS liked him. Therefore he was NEVER underrated. How can you even MENTION that you think he was underrated? That doesnt make any sense! God damnit. He's won a few competitions too.

He is just massively inconsistent in competition. All of his movie segments have been extremely well done.
