damn computer. the rest of that was soppesed to say
is anyone else going up on thursday to be able to ski all day friday?

We have a 50-60 foot hip right now and we plan on pushing as much snow as we can find into this thing!

It is actually a huge spine because you can land to the right and Left and it actually hits the best going straight over the top like a 60ft table,

We will also have another takeoff in the front right corner,(separate from the feature- A cheese wedge jump so you can gap the whole feature to the landing on the left or back of it for a dual landing option and a straighter takeoff for swtich tricks. Its like a huge Spine with two separate takeoffs

anybody remember the place to stay that is right on the lake, has a huge house and a seperate smaller house, with nicer rooms available on the upper levels , and dorm like rooms for cheaper lower level,

cant remember the name of that place we had tons of fun there like three four years ago.

tryin to stay at that joint again, thanks

what about jumps? is there gonna be any normal jumps in the comp? and can you post pictures of the whole park if you get a chance?

its everything a comp and so much more. Yes you can just come and ride everyting and watch.
I belive for superpark you have to just buy a lift ticket and a superpark ticket which is needed to beable to ride and compete so you have the option of competing or not.

Brandon, this is the spine/hip to copy as far as takeoff and landing angles. I'm dating myself here but wasn't this like 6-7 years ago? Best jump Marquette ever built!

Wow where on the hill are they hiding a 60 foot hip... I haven't found it yet.

Lots of hype here, wait until it gets closer to see what really goes up, and what is just hype

There will be normal jumps our middle and Little parks will be untouched, Contour (middle park) will have 7 jumps.

The Chute park will have start jump into a step-up style jump, (no idea on size) until we push as much snow as we can. then we are going to plow over the middle chute jump into the bottom jump like last year for a HUGE showcase jump Bottom of Chute

Those of you who came last year will be excited to see CHUTE jumps because we DID NOT have them last year!

I will post pics of the features as they get finished, but to try to post pics of our park would take forever.... we have 20 jumps and 30 non-snow features!

I just purached our materials to make Capes for 1st-3rd places... we're gonna bedazzle the Shit out of these things.

To reply to a few items:

The contests are free with your superpark ticket, so you can do only one or all three its up to you.

THE Marquette Mountain website does have waivers for anyone underage to print off

www.marquettemountain.com

THe K2 Log jam is a small feature at the bottom of the hill with 3 log

features... hitching post , log bonk, and a cannon log!..... similare

to the ladders, tables, and chairs match from lat year

so its $25 for registration for superpark, $20 if you are in costume

and then $25 for a lift ticket per day

is that right?

can any of you guys from up there send a pic or 2 to see if its gona be legit. please. or atleast a peep at these "super park" hits...just hope its not like last years big air jump. "THE ELIMINATOR"

I would post picks, but they are building the stuff tonight, tomorrow and wed, so we are testing them WED night Jam Session,

So I can take a rough pick tomorrow night at the earliest. or a legit wed pick which do YOU prefer

I must say, that so far it is REALLy coming together

I got room maybe in the trunk. Call frumpy I know he is rolling up and might have room.
who is doing the building?

Can we get a confirmed, 100% sure answer whether or not the ski comp is on Saturday or Sunday? I know a lot of people are confused about this and have heard different things. Also if you can post pics of the setup, either completely done or close to done skibmc, that would be greatly appreciated by all.

talk to us, we need to know. and any locals, do you know if the NORDIC BAY LODGE is still in opperation or what,, where is the best cheap place to stay up there that is close to the mountian

12 bucks friday. everything everthing is saturday like it always has been. james might be able to get some pictures since he flew in tonight.

i would be able to answer your questions about the features, but our hill is on spring hours - - meaning open thursday through sunday. i was last there on saturday, and it looked like things were starting to get pushed around. the rail line on snowfield should be legit. as for the hip...when i last saw it, it was still a big pile of snow. depending on what they did to the chute line in the last 3 day, was/is awesome. i heard rumors of them re-pushing the take offs and making the landings steeper, but who knows. and soo on thursday i might be able to get some pix (not that that is any help)
the comp and everything else is on sunday. as for the cheapest place to stay? i honestly have no idea. if you guys no people (not volunteering any names) hit them up! i know i would welcome everyone into my apartment, but there is honestly no room with 3 other roomies.
get up here though, is def worth the drive. since i know all you southerners arnt skiing.

I'm really confused now.... the picture at the start of the thread said Saturday the 4th and now it's on Sunday?

Ok, just talked to Brand himself.

THE COMP IS ON SATURDAY. SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING, SAME AS EVERY OTHER YEAR.

The ENTIRE MMPark system (All 3 parks) will be beyond normal standards and free to the public all day.

Superpark tickets will be check on the rail jam from 10-1pm and Big Air 2-5pm

ALL other hours will be free to public

EVERYTHING will be open to public on FRI

We will have pics for you this evening as we go to DEMO the HIP at 6pm

MONSTER Energy Drink AFTER PARTY at the DogHouse for those of age!

All comps are on SAT, people tend to be too hung over to ski hard, they usually film

ITS ALL GONNA BE WORTH YOUR DRIVE

saw the big air jump this afternoon.
all normal superpark hype aside.......this fucker is huge. 68 foot deck---stepped out. 80+ foot landing. its a big hit.
the hip also looks like a great time.
rail line is up, there is a up flat down flat down that looks well set up, with side take offs onto the dfd. if i hit the hip tonight with bmc and crew i will let everyone know how sick it is.

just demoed all the features......so sick.

the jumps take off just got repushed to twice the hight that it was, legit.
its the biggest jump i have hit since riding keystone in january. its going to go off!
