Yeah there will probably be a practice session the night before and the next morning before the comp. And i'm 95% sure that I will be judging the big air and rail jam. Still looking for a snowboard judge though.

If you can get back here you can sleep on my futon haha... that's the best a broke college student can do for you lol

Luke if u get in a pinch and need a snowboard judge let me know. I got no big banger tricks to compete with the progression anyways.

I was really looking forward to competing, but my season ended yesterday w/ a dislocated shoulder and clavicle damage. But will prob come out and film.

Not really... I'm not going to compete any more because I wanted a purple and gold one instead of purple and white.
;)

Haha well I know how much you love the purps and gold... but yeah it's going to be a super fun day so keep registering people!

Update: The jump will be built a week from today, which will allow us time to test it and get it dialed in before the weekend. I will be going up on that that tuesday so I will try and get some photos to post.

Also, I just submitted a design for a new rail which will hopefully be ready to be unveiled at the jam. Should be way sick and i'm super stoked about it.

Keep registering!

Planning on 4 features for the jam... does anyone have any requests? I already have a good idea for what i want to set up, but am willing to take suggestions. It has to involve rails that we have already... we only have time to make the one new one. So the rails we have are... Focus boxes (2 fat and 2 skinny), T-Box, just the standard box which is the second one on the skiers left line, 33 ft. box top rail, black box top, low triple barrel, tall triple barrel, battle ship boxtop rail, double barrel rail, leines canoe, Down-Flat-Down, 20 ft by 20 ft kink box top, tall box top, small rainbow rail, butter boxes. That's about all of them... any special requests... you have to remember that we only have so much speed from the drop in and only so much space in the base area.

33 ft. box top rail, tall triple barrel, and Down-Flat-Down. assuming the 4th would be the one that you're making.

not familar with what features you have currently but just make the practice session not a cluster fuck. running it last year with snowboarders and skiers at the same time made it impossible to get any hits in.

Sorry for the triple post, but we also have the 40 ft flat bar... which might be a bit too long but if people really wanted it out i would consider it

I am not sure you if have seen the park lately. The landing for the mwo will be the third landing now. You should be able to view from video's online. It is a steep as I could get it, and as long as It can be due to the slope that the park is on, I might alter the rest of the park if the weather slows down the speed needed to clear the deck. I will be working on the setup starting Sunday night, I am thinking we will close the landing for the week due to above freezing temps. l also plan on having a roped in spectator area close to the jump that will give everyone a great view of the big air deck. Please add anymore suggestions on the big air comp. I have also been appointed snowboarding judge.

Hey Steve,

We just checked the registration and you're all set. So, I'm assuming you figured it out last night... Game on!

UPDATE:

Jump practice will be on friday night from 5-9 or 10. You must register before you go to hit the jump as we will be policing the entire North Park and only letting competitors in. If you are only signed up for the rail jam you will not be allowed to hit the jump. We will be requiring helmets during practice as well as the actual competitions. Big Air comp will be best trick... you get 2 runs. Rail Jam will be overall impression, rail jam practice will be split up in two sessions(one skiers and one boarders). I will be the main skier judge... don't want to compete with my broken thumb, but thanks to Andy for offering to judge. New rail is being built during the week to be unveiled at the rail jam along with 3 other features. I am going out to the hill tomorrow night after classes to test hit the jump and make any adjustments that need to be made. There will be two hits side by side. The jump will definitely be much poppier than last year. I am super stoked about this weekend, the weather is supposed to be beautiful, and I have done my best to change everything that you guys said sucked the last couple of years. I think the MWO is going to be awesome this year and I can't wait to ride with everyone this weekend! I will post pictures of the jumps either late tomorrow night or on wednesday.

JEA get stoked!
