MIDWEST BACKACHES

I've noticed that my back, spine, and neck have been hurting really bad this season after days of riding park at my icy ass, compost heap of a ski hill. Other seasons I haven't really had this problem as much. I think stomping tricks steezy, aka straight-legged sucks riding in the midwest and eastcoast b/c the landings are hard as rock and don't have any give. Everytime I land something I feel like my spine is taking the shock instead of my legs. Maybe I should just learn to bend my legs when I land haaha. Anyways....I was wondering if anybody else riding on the ice-coast experiences this problem.

let me be the first to tell you that you do not land straight legged or close to it unless your jumps are moguls...

I ride in the midwest and I am only sore/aching for about 2-4 hours after i ski but that is it. and don't land straight legged. land in an athletic stance and you should be fine. Or if it is really icy and you want to ride park just hit the rails.
