moving to virginia maybe like an hour away form D.C. and i was wondering how far away some of the local ski resorts are like wintergreen or snowshoe? and also what thses mountains or hills are like?

id say go to snowshoe, i hear its actually got good snow.....but if youre really dedicated, head up here to the north...you know, what a 12 hour drive? its do-able

i've been to Snowshoe and it was pretty good. they get decent amounts of snow.
