haha. so many microsoft haters.

computers are tools. windows NT series (NT4, Windows 2000, and Windows XP) has been very good.and although I agree before they were sub par. I enjoy Windows I enjoy having control over everything. sure you have more space to screw up unlike Mac OS which unless you know Unix you cant do anyhting. but I like that extra control.

the prices will drop tremendously.

PCs have a cool way of coming out with new faster stuff at the same price.

for example you know that the top of the line graphics card will allways cost 300-400 dollars that was teh case with Voodoo 1,2,3,4,5; Nforce 2,3,4,5,6,7

I know that they've been demo-ing it for years on existing hardware, that the Beta comes out tomorrow and will run on existing hardware, and that you still haven't pointed to or even named a source, you just said three big company names.

But hey, if a guy on Newschoolers says it's true, then it must be.

 
One good thing for mac is that os X has been out for awile... so when vista is shitty or unstable for a few years (or less... think back to how windows 95 and 98 could crash with one minor accident) ours will be fully functional... i doubt vista will be perfect from the beginning

Does it annoy anybody that the first trick landed in Not Another Ski Movie WAS SEVEN AND A HALF FUCKING MINUTES INTO THE MOVIE???????????????? i paid for a ski movie... not a tour of a lightbulb factory
