MHSSC or Windells?

if you're poor or you have to pay for camp and have other priorities to spend money on: mhssc

if you're rich or your parents are paying: windells
 
or..........MHSSC: go if you want more tramp time, a gas station right beside you can ACTUALLY go to, free soda machine, chill as fuck fellow campers, coaches,consolers, and staff. FREEDOM, best and biggest jumps, and you can go for 4 weeks for around $2200 as 2 weeks camper and 2 weeks camper-staff, thats almost 1 session at windells for 4 at MHSSC, good food and a better attitude
go Windells:if you want swag, pros everywhere, vending machines, skate park, ok tramps that are busy a LOT, sick park, more rails, cocky faggets, coaches that might help you on stuff, but will most likely be skiing and doing laps, (while MHSSC coaches watch you, almost all the time)alright food, dryslope, and aribag( not going to lie, i like that fact) but again, its fucking steep on price, you will have more fun at 2 weeks of MHSSC then 1 week at windells knowing your bank will still have money left over when you get back.
please guys just search MHSSC in the searchbar and post in the other threads so i and other MHSSC lovers don't have to comment in this, hit up jaznewt if you got any more questions
 
This I went and it was the best decision Ive made. Literally every kid there was super chill (even the racers) and everyone was there to just have a great time. Plus all the stuff that tayswift said about actually having freedom and being able to walk 30 feet down the road to buy normal priced food at the gas station unlike windells. The skiing was great and the jumps really were the best and biggest at hood (not counting windells big step over that i'm sure most campers aren't allowed to even hit) I have friends that went to windells and they had a blast so either way you'll have fun. It's just more fun for me when i know i saved a grand to ski the same mountain as other kids.
 
Tay Swift and Masties have been working for MHSC for to long. Windells has a gas station that serves, as you say, "real food" that buts up next to the Windells too. Windells has a snack shack that serves as you say "real food too". Really you guys drive right by Windells Camp and if your going to talk about differences of the two camps then great, But stop talking shit about things that are not true.

If you go to Windells then you will hit a larger varitey of boxes, rails, wall rides, jumps and air bags in 1 session verse 4 at MHSSC. You guys are hiking as of now and Windells campers are still riding two handle tows and the Palmer lift. Windells park has 48 park features and 8 jumps/hips. Windells has the largest jump on mt hood.

Windells has two olympic trampolines, the best in the industry, hands down and 2 back yard tramps.

Regarding the cost issue, you get what you pay for???

 
if by biggest you mean flatest then yes, you do have the biggest jump on mount hood right now. As for the rope tow, all the windells kids just clog pubby so Im doubting that anyone uses it
 
you guys are on crack, seriously, the handle tows are not clogged at all. if you like we can hang out at Windells this session and clock how long it takes a skier to lap one our even two private lifts. I am confident it is the fastest turn around in the camping industry period. as all those ski pro's from Whistler continue to leave their and come hang out at Windells.

You guys humor me with how F---ing desperate MHSSC IS for campers. in bashing a camp all you do is open the kids eyes into making them look deeper into what is really the differences.

We never said that windells private tows were crowded... It was said that the mile and palmer lifts are crowded.

"If you like we can hang out at windells this session" - I'm SURE you have the power to stop all the campers from going to pubby. And MHSSC isn't desperate for campers. When was the last time you saw an ad for MHSSC? Never, thats what i thought. It's just that the kids that went there put in a GREAT word for it because of how much of a great time we've had.

i had the best time at windells ever, my coach was andy perry. the park had only one box rail but a good few big pipes. they groomed the every day and had an airbag under it. the life lines and ropes were NOT CLOGGED and everyone was super chill, except for this one bald annoying kid. the downside is that everything costs money but its not excessive the clothing was a tad pricey though. but the dry course was sick and so was BOB and the concrete jungle was nice too. The dorms were cool i was in the NEFF room and i got a lot of free stuff while i was there.
 
He's not. He got a job in SoCal and isn't going to be skiing much anymore. Sad times... I think it's possible we may get Shea in again to coach a session or two, plus Maks, Nolan and Jasper obviously.

Apparently Rick is trying to get a rope tow for our park or some other form of transportation. No idea if he will succeed. Another rumor I heard was that Mark was making plans for our own dryslope before he died. No idea if anyone will pick up on that. And all of these things would probably raise the price no more than $100/session. MHSSC is a skier's camp. Mike and Lynn do it because they like it, not because they want to get rich.
 
TaySwift and Masties don't even work for MHSSC. They were fucking campers, so if you don't know who they are, "stop talking shit about things that are not true." And even though you pay less for MHSSC, you get the same mountain, same sick public park, and all that shit, and you still have a bank account left. All the kids were soo chill at MHSSC. I met a few Windells kids on the lifts that were straight up dicks! I can honestly say that I met 1 kid at MHSSC that wasn't chill as fuck, and he was a racer, so thats kinda to be expected.
 
I've been to windells twice and occasionally go to open gym. I really wish I woulda gone to MHSSC instead.

Unless you like to skate, that is.
 
ya like i have to say that whole mentality that i go to windells i am sicker then you is slightly true, i don't know how many times i went up with sick, chill windells kids - cuz they thought i was at Windells myself. Not going lie, but you get what you pay fro with both camps, the 2k for windells is taken care of in swag, tow ropes, tramps, airbags, dryslopes and that shit, but at MHSSC you pay for skiing, coaching, food, and activties. Like i still will rep MHSSC for life but it would be nice if MHSSC got some swag for the campers, but all in all, it goes down to price, for two weeks ate MHSSC you can go one week at Windells, so it depends what you want, 2 weeks of orgasmic skiing or 1 week with great skiing
 
Ya I agree with Tay. I went to MHSSC this summer for the first time and it was the illest! The coaches are great and they are there to make you better and teach you and not just ski and take laps all summer. The people are also really cool and chill and no im better than you attitude everyone is there to do the same thing which is progress. Its also cheaper. I had a great time and will definitly be going back
 
Went to MHSSC this year for two weeks had Malone and Shea as my coaches and it was the sickest time of my life. All the kids were super chill, no one cared how good anyone was, even if you were basically a beginner like myself. The coaches were sick especially Shea, both helped me progress a ton. So fuck Dexter765 MHSSC is the SHIT!
 
im really not a confrontational person/member, but you really need to shut up. You have never been to windells, just because your best friends sisters boyfriends cousin went there and told you all the kids were dicks does not give you the right to spew bull shit about windells over the forums.

Windells was a really great place, not just saying that. My group was increbile; as was my coach, john kutcher. He shredded with us basically the entire day, it was insanely awesome. Plus our group dynamic was incredible, everyone was so stoked on everybody else and everyone progressed. everyone. The kids there weren't "RItCH DoUCHE B4G FUKZZZ!!ZZ" as everyone seems to portray them as. For the most part they were incredibly chill, modest, and down to earth people. Having said that, there were also some younger kids who were dicks, but everyone hated them and you learn to ignore them. BOB is amazing, tramps are amazing, skiing is amazing, food is ok haha.

I may just do 4 weeks at mhssc next year though, and just lap pubs all day.

And please dont be that douchbag whose come back is "you're not your, get some grammar skills fag"
 
it's COC or MHSSC next year for me, i love MHSSC but my buddy has a cabin in whistler so may stay there and just do the camp without the housing, and i live close to whistler,
 
clearly its not a "kid", if dexter... is referring to "our tow ropes" and that he should meet him at hood. its either tim, or an employee.
 
mhssc camp for life and they have one olympic tramp but theres is about 500 less campers trying to bounce on them and mhssc park is the illest i went there for 3 weeks it was so sick

 
dear tim windell. you started a cool camp. everyone knows that. now you feel that you still have to hype it ridiculously hard. wtf. you are on crack. why the fuck are you trying to defend your camp against MHSSC. they're completely different.

windells is a big corporation with plenty of extra money for rope tows, crazy jibs, and shitty food

MHSSC is a chill camp that doesn't have to prove itself to anyone. MHSSC is cheaper, obviously doesn't have as good of a park, but is still a super legit camp considering that the coaches will go out of their way to help their campers improve. Windells coaches usually don't really give a fuck and your progression is all on you. I don't want to overgeneralize. There are definitely some coaches at Windells who make sure their campers progress and achieve their goals.

this summer i worked at MHSSC for a month for $2500 doing the camperstaff program, it was well worth it.

i've been going to MHSSC for 3 years now and am so glad that i did. i've met so many amazing people and had some of the best experiences of my life.

for me the biggest factor was the fact that you can go to 2 sessions of mhssc for 2k versus 1 session at windells for the same price.

BOTH CAMPS WILL BE AMAZING IF YOU GO, there is no debate there. but for me, it was more worth it to get more time on snow, regardless of whether the facilities are better(at least less ghetto) at windells.

that said, MHSSC for life
