MFD Alltime Touring Binding performance

Stumbled across this on blister, and it seems like a very compelling design. Does anyone have experience with these? How does it impact the performance of the binding? How does their performance compare to salomon guardians?It also talks about a feature to sway the binding out toa different pair of skis, how does that work?

I haven't used it or anything but i saw someone that was and he looked pretty happy. Also I talked with backcountrys gear chat people and he said they were great.

Mfd is kinda obsolete in my eyes now that cast setups are out

Thinking same thing. I give it two season before the cast are in the market full stream though like MFD plates. (sold at major retailers).

Yes and no.

There will always be people who just don't want to fuck with altering their alpine boots and for those people, MFD Alltimes are still perfect.

I would never buy them simply because I would never willfully subject myself to that kind of stride, but there are some who don't care and just want beef.

Hell, trekkers still have a cult following and pretty much any AT binding should have theoretically rendered them obsolete.
