Metal Rails vs. PVC

I found these metal rails online, the only thing is that they're technically skating rails. I think they'll work just the same and they're like 50$. I also think they'll last longer than PVC and be sturdier. How much does it cost to do a PVC rail? Will the PVC rails work just as well as the metal ones or is it worth it to spend a little bit more? Thanks

if its a skate rail its prob real short.

i reckon if its less than 12 feet, its not worth sliding.

my rails are pvc and there 17ft (flat) and 20ft (fdf).

just make one out of cheap wood. Steal it from a construction site. And use pvc. slides like butter.

the rails will mess up ur skis faster, but the pvc wont, and its cheaper, and u can make it the way u want it. but i have no clue how much it costs....

PVC will shatter at low tempuratures.

not if you buy a wood dowel to put inside it. Then it is shatterproof.
