Anyone here metal detect... I have been interested for a while. What detector do you use? And what have been your best finds?

...I think I watch to much television.

I'm embarrassed that you're from Maryland. Fuck off

OP, I think it could absolutely be fun and want to get into it myself. Good luck

Garrett Infinium and you will wreck shit out there. Beaches are chill to find stuff, but rivers in the south you are libel to find civil war armaments and that would be so sick. Europe if you get the chance, loads of WW2 relics yours for the taking.

Woah... Another newschooler from MD? Maybe I'll see you at Liberty.

OT: Don't know much about metal detecting, but good luck OP...

Haha, nah bro... I'm a gaper. Just started skiing last season. I just bought a season night pass at Liberty though... Gettin' pretty stoked for this year.

Here's one of me out and about.

Don't make fun of me or my hobby. Theirs nothing homosexual about finding cool stuff in the ground. It's super fun actually.

When you go out do you dig every time it beeps? Is there places you're more likely to find things? Do you usually just find metal cans or something like that? I think it's sick. Would never really get into it now though. Maybe when I'm like 80

let me know if you get into it. It would be cool to have someone who is at the same level as me to see what you buy and find

Probably going to invest around Christmas. Looking at the Fischerf4. I'm in upstate ny, app there are a lot of American revolution relics around

my little bro has a garret ace 250, but hes 10.....

that being said i've used it a couple times and only found scrap metal and coins.

All decked out. Yeah I have some friends who have found some old seated liberties and other old coinage. Lot of old bullets and buckles and buttons from the war of 1812.

My grandpa is a beast at it. He's in some group that are called the past finders. Haha it's pretty crazy he's 92 and has found so much cool stuff.

Personal favorite is a old ass poker chip grinder. He said people would snort the keef which I thought was funny

I'm thinking this, 663040.jpegThe Fisher F4... Good starting device, around 300-400 bones. I collect silver coins and have made some descent money selling them for silver value. Plus I figure I can eBay a lot of what I find.
