harvey, you should see if you can add something to your php code that marks if the message has been read or not. it'd be 1 extra column in your messages table set as a bool value and when people go check their message history they can see if its been viewed or not. just put an sql statement to set it to true AFTER the message has been displayed (like at the bottom of the php file that actually shows the message)...that way you know someone read the message. just something to think about that isn't too hard to do.

The only real drug problem is scoring real good drugs.
 
ya, that's a sick idea - not sure about most of the stuff he said - but the actual idea sounded really good. DO IT - please.

I was indeed thinking of doing that when I first did the messaging, and it would take about 10 seconds to code up, but I decided against doing it.. I think it was just in case people didn't want the sender to know if they read it... I had reasons for this before, but can't remember them.. haha.. what does everyone think? Good idea?

I actually realised yesterday that all the coding for it is already done! I just have to uncomment the line that says print '$isread';.
