Mental health in action sports Research Survey

You should have someone proofread that there was at least one question you forgot to add no as an option and a few other mistakes I noticed but I did it n good luck with your project

one question asked if extreme sports have affected my mental health and i said yes as it was a yes or no question but i’m worried that you will read that as affected in a bad way even though they have affected my mental health extremely positively. keep that in mind i guess.

Yea I had the Same worry

is this a group project? i feel like the styles of questioning made me think that lol. anyway glad to highlight my fucked up family in your survey ?

Wtf is the fourth page? The way those questions were formatted sucked. It made me feel guilty that I like to exercise. They also really do not account for variability. Like "increasing intensity/frequency" doesn't make any sense. Over what period of time? If it's over my life like the other questions, I have no idea how to answer. If it's this week, I was sick last week. Kinda annoyed to spend so much time doing this to get on the final section and not be able to answer because of bad wording

Can't edit this post after I reread the form saying last three weeks, but I still think the fourth page is stupid. Scale of 1-6 is too much. The questions basically all contradict each other and still make me feel guilty for exercising. The last few weeks have been a mix of ski season and sick season, affecting everything. Idk man the last page really seems like a group of people put it together without checking with each other

done, good luck with your project!

i feel like there should also be a note on the social/community/social media/culture aspect of the sport vs. the direct athletic and physical relationship to it- i find a lot more of the burnout/depressive symptoms i experience can be attributed more to the culture and social aspect of the sport rather than the actual act of doing the sport itself.

Yea this too. I was looking for somewhere to put how skiing affects my mental health both positively and negatively, because the culture has made it challenging to not consume substances.

The questions refer to the last three months as explained at the start of the section, I'm not personally making the questions, these are mostly a set of clinical screeners that have been determined to be effective, I appreciate the feedback and the surveys
