I am currently finishing up high school,and have a messed up knee. I am planning on using the few months left of the school year to get certified as a patient in Montana. The only problem with this situation is my overly conservative parents that don't approve. In order for this to work out would have to pick my mail up directly from the post office, and get a track phone for contact purposes. Does this seem like a valid plan?
 
just do it illegally. you dont want your name in any databases if your parents (and prolly extended family) are against weed.

just my 2 cents.
 
If you make getting weed feel like something from a mission impossible movie.... then you probably shouldn't smoke!
 
new plan next year when hempfest in seattle comes around go to seattle and get your green card there you can literally buy them there for like $50 straight off of some random guy and they are 100% legit green card not fake

nothing comes to your house, you dont get mailed shit, they dont call you, they dont do anything
 
coming from someone who has their MMJ card in CO, yes they do mail you your card. At least in CO. It's a red card with your address and last 4 of your social. Not sure how your state does it, but my card came in a big envelope stamped Department of Health in big print. Maybe get a P.O box?
 
maybe its different in different states but mine is definitely a "card", like a social security card, with a hologram and raised lettering and shit. and it definitely showed up in the mail for my mom to find.

I dont know how it works in Montana unfortunately. picking your mail up tho shouldnt be a big deal. the bigger problem is paying for the doctors visits out-of-pocket so your parents wont see it on the insurance statement. but if you've got the cash do it medical ganj is way rad.
 
I'm sure it's different state to state, but i know in CO and CA it doesn't go on insurance, or any of your medical records outside of the doctor you visited.
 
I had a dispensary call and leave me a message last week, (my VM greeting is just my number not even my name or voice) I was fucking pissed, had that been a work or family phone they could have caused someone a lot of trouble. It might even be considered a HIPAA violation... So getting phone calls is not out of the question, but as far as mail correspondence I've only ever received the original card. Mine just expired and while it was fun and convenient, I don't know if it was really worth it... If you can afford to buy like a months worth at a time I would say avoid the MMJ license, fees and hassle....
 
No it's not. My roomy has his Montana green card. He did some medical evaluation through a web chat with a doctor. They do background searches and oth stuff like that then they mail your card and other documents to you
 
if you ask a dispensary or a doctor to send only unmarked packages and to be discrete about phone calls they will usually be willing to comply considering there are a lot of people who want to hide there association with MMJ.

also dont go around calling it medical cannabis, you sound like a complete tool. if you want to sound legitimate call it marijuana.
 
youre turning 18 soon im guessing or you already are youre a senior in highschool. tell your parents youre smart enough to make your own decisions and youve weighed them out and thats what you want to do. just explain it to them, unless you fucked up and your parents have no trust in you then youre fucked.

 
In cali you just go in and they give it to you on the spot, took less than 10 minutes for me and was only $55, didnt have to bring any medical info, a note or anythingnot sure how it is in montana sounds like its a little tougher

yes it does vary and it varies from were you get it. in california at least there is something called 420evaluations and basically you just pay and they will give you a card and its an actual card, and then if its from a legit doctor its just paper work
 
this right here is the way to do it, cockslap your mom while your at it too and tell your dad "bitch sit down, this my house now, ill do what i want" and then they'll be like whuuu? ok.
