Meathead Films & Poor Boyz (Dual Premiere) - Portsmouth, NH

hmmm this is fairly close to me and i dont plan on purchasing those movies but i want to see em... i might be down to see it... anyone else thinking of going from southern NH

hey i went to order tickets and the show wasnt showing up on that webiste where u can order tickets.

Damnit! I'm only a few months away from 18. I live so close, yet it's out of reach. What a drag...

Meatheads will be doing a premiere at UNH on October 14th per their annual tour. The premiere at the Portsmouth Gaslight Co will be the only NH stop for Poor Boyz.

any concord area riders interested in bringing MH to the city? the TGR premier was great last december, hosted at red river cinemas. or maybe carpool to UNH?

YUP great ski movie premiere's at the gaslight and plenty of cold beer...this is a no brainer....ill be there with a crew for sure....how many people required for group discounts?

i went last year and it was wack. this year theynupped the prices too so its even gayer. iwouldnt recommend going unless you're over 21 and even then its lame. poor boyz needs to premiere at unh where all the skiers are. also for free. why would i pay 20 bucks to watch a movie once when i could buy it for 30 and have it forever..or even better download it for free in a few months.

1) Ugh, Sorry? Stoked to here you appreciate the effort of bringing a movie to Portsmouth.

2) I tried to premiere the movie at UNH this year but the logistics behind it didn't work out.

3) $15 presale, $20 at the door. Meathead Films & Poor Boyz. 2 movies, $5 dollar increase over last year...it's the same price as last year if you go to the link below before and purchase them before hand:

4) Way to support the industry...or not. Torrents? Really?

I'll take the criticism and all, but at least have it be constructive.

This will be a great event. Support the movie companies that support skiing!

Don't forget to come out on Wednesday Oct 20 for the MSP premiere at the Portsmouth Hall. Both of these will be awesome events!

dont like how its 18 or older. Unfortunately you will be missing out on quite some profit considering i have a number of friends who were going to go until they found out the age restriction

Why do people always act like its the fault of the production company that a premier has an age restriction? I would say 99.9% of the time, its not their call, it's the venue's.

im not putting the production company at fault at all. Im saying, regardless of who's decision it is, they are not going to make as much money as they could.

Sometimes its cheaper for the production company to hold the premiere at a place such as a bar or night club because the bar makes a profit off of it too (i.e. alcohol sales). I'm sure theres reasoning behind it all.

please don't take this personally but why the fuck was it cancelled

this is how mad I am right now:

If I could have had the event be All Ages, I would've gone for it. Sadly, it just wasn't in the cards due to limited venue availability at UNH and in Portsmouth. It was even a stretch to get the 18+. I know you're not calling out Poor Boyz for it being their call, I just wanted to clarify that it's not as if we wanted 18+ for a reason, that's just the way it is.

I would have paid 20$ to see network, it was sick. However I'm definitely not going to be spending 20$ to see Revolver again

I went last year for wild stallions. was fun, but i'm not 21 yet and $20 is kinda steep . But if my bank account looks good then i will be there.

Fuck the gaslight for premieres. In my opinion the setup to watch the movies simply sucked last year. Cant wait to see both movies, but I will definitely not be attending.

sorry for hurting your feelings but i speak the truth. torrenting is definitely cheaper than paying.
