I just got accepted into McGill. I'm moving from Vancouver in the fall. Anyone here attend or going to be attending McGill next year? I'm bringing my skis and will be looking for some people to ski with. I'm guessing Tremblant is the place to ski if you live in the Montreal area? Hit me up if you want to ride next season!
 
Yeah I go, am graduating this year.

First year I got a season pass to Jay Peak, but that's because there was a bus there. Second year, got a tremblant pass because had a friend drive.

Last 2 years have been a member of the SSMU Ski and Snowboard club. In my opinion your best bet. Different mountain every weekend depend on the best conditions around, get on the bus and pass out. crazy cheap ski lift tickets and they throw good parties too. I'd recommend that.

Personally, if I had a car, i'd have a Jay pass - by far the best skiing around. Great east coast pow skiing. Its about 1 hr 45 mins away. Or, get a Bromont night pass - $99 for the season for nights (45 mins away).

Enjoy McGil and Montreal , it's a great city with great skiing options.
 
The SSMU ski and snowboard club is your best bet for skiing starting in January (definitely get a membership). For excursions to places like Le Massif or if you want to ski before January, you should check outhttps://www.expresstours.ca/ski.php . I know it's a french only website but it's not too hard to figure it out. It offers trips to various ski areas in the US as well as resorts around Quebec City. Also join the McGill Outdoor Club mailing list. Some people in the club drive to Jay every weekend or so.

Also, a jay peak pass is really worth getting only if you have a car.

Well, I really like bromont, nice park and you can ski some powder ish. NExt year im going to whistler but when i come back I can give you a ride to bromont , i ususally go there like 4 days a week.

you can also take the train to mt rigaud

its tiny but worth it for the 15 dollar monday night tic
