McConkey movie - now on iTunes!

dam im balling on ski movies this week but out of all of them there is no way im not buying this!

I was just lamenting last night that this would probably take forever to get on itunes. This is awesome.

always wondered who RENTS these iTunes movies. For $7 more you keep it forever. wtf is $7 gonna buy you anyway

I'm gonna rent it right now because I wanna see it badly but I'm also probably going to buy the blu ray soon. So it makes sense to rent it at the moment off itunes.

$7 buys you a couple beers and a shot

that makes sense if you plan on getting the blu ray. i was just wondering

and yea i wish man beers here in NY cost $7 at a hole in the wall bar, shots? yea $10 each...god forbid you like mixed drinks, they cost ya up to $15 each. All this and we get no good snow, ask me why im here again

They could not have had a more perfect ending. & I'm glad they didn't put the actual death in.

My Blu-Ray is arriving today, but the premiere is Friday, so I'll have to hold off watching it until then. Might be tough.

just got back from the premiere, seriously great movie. slowed down a little in the middle but at no point was i ever bored or wanting it to be over. Everytime i watch anything about Shane I get inspired to just go out and shred, which is exactly what I am going to do this season.

^also went, such a great movie, a must buy for any skier, you will smile from start to finish

easy must buy for any skier.

this was awesome, he was top notch man. There is crazy and then there is McConkey! what a life, what a guy

cracked up when he walked in his house and said "Home hunny, I'm High" LOL i gotta use that

So well done. Showcased a lot of early McConkey that I never saw getting into skiing a few years ago. It's a true movie too, 1 hr 49 minutes.

Do yourself a favor and go buy it if you haven't already.

that was really good and well done. i would've liked to see more of his skiing in his prime though-- they didn't even show him doing the two lines at squaw named after him. but that's okay, it was a really good doc about him

man i got so choked when they went back to the straight on shot of the cliff in italy, i thought they were going to show it for sure.

the ending was the absolute best, straight up smiling from ear to ear.

Somehow I cant find it on iTunes here in the Netherlands?? I have bought Vallhala, Into the Mind and Partly Cloudy, but McConkey is nowhere to be found :(

Saw it at the Tribecca Film Festival in NYC.... Best fucking ski movie/documentary ever when it was over i almost cried

bump... important piece of ski history, McConkeys the man such a sick movie. everyone on this website should watch it.

Great movie, just really shows how awesome people can be in life. Inspiring for sure. His wife is incredible for looking at his death the way she does.

Seems like Shane pioneered so many extreme things, I hope his legend never dies.

Successfully held off watching my BluRay copy until I saw the premiere in Park City last night. Great movie, really inspiring. And it was really cool that Shane's mom was in the crowd.

great movie, interesting guy! inspiring but at the time a bit crazy haha, definitely a legend in the sport and a man who was truly bigger than life!

I am so glad they saved that last joke for the end. Someone managed to cut some serious onions in my room towards the end.
