McCauley Mountain?

Hey, I was just wondering if anybody has skis there. I haven't been in almost ten years, and ten years ago I remember it being awesome. I remember there being some cool drops and such, but I was also ten years old haha, so everything seemed huge and epic. Anyways, if anybody could give me some info on what it's like, I'd greatly appreciate it. Feel free to shoot me an PM. Thanks!

Hey man, Mccauley is still epic. There is not really a park, but there are some great woods runs. Helmers has a couple of drops on the skiers right (we used call these the steps). Decamp has some litte 5 foot clifs, I skied it once this year last time I was home, it usually isnt open unless there is a ton of snow. Next to the T bad there is Olympic, which is my fac trail, the upper half is pretty flat some nice bumps, the middle section on the skiers right is a couple nice drops, and it is pretty steep. I usually huck the first drop, second one is pretty gnarly it is about a 10 foot on to some bump. I usually stay right there because there is a next line right after. The other runs there are fun to fuck around on. The bar is fun (I dont know if your of age) the Utica Clubs are like 2 or 3 bucks, everyone is wicked nice. There are some good skiers. Hope this helps man.

I am going to bump this, and tell everyone (even though you dont prob give a fuck) I will be skiing at McCauley this weekend. It is a fun little place, they are so nice drops and bumps (yes I still ski bumps). If your in the area you should go. Thanks

^ how much for a ticket? and how do you check if they are open or not. I go to school in plattsburgh and would def like to hit that up on my home to syracuse sometime.

I don't think I've ever paid to ski at McCauley, but even if you have to its not more than $25 for the day. Its a great little mountain with limited but decent tree skiing and a few actually challanging drops in the trees...don't fuck up the landings or you'll be eating some serious bark.
