I love matej and I have been following him for about a year and half now. But ever since his sus quad in the x games I have seen so many people on tik tok mainly hoping on the hype train. I wasn’t mad when tik tok kids called Jesper the goat. But then calling Matej the best park skier all time is wild.

Definetly not true he’s sick and talented but hasn’t been skiing for the same time as someone like tanner hall and went through some of the same shit that make a legend a legend

He may have been the best like 20 years ago but still that doesn’t mean he was the best or even one of the best skiers of all time. I think OP is talking more about ability than status. Just saying I don’t actually give a shit imma go drink some water
 
Matej is taking the reins as stylish comp skier for sure. When Henrik decides to retire from comp skiing, it will be Matej who fills the void. His slope runs in qualifiers were so perfect in my opinion. Even my boarder buddy grabbed the remote and immediately rewinded the run to watch again.
 
I agree. Matej is sick no doubt, but this guy has been on the scene for like 2 years. Some guys blow up quick and then disappear just as fast. I'll be ready to jump on the hype train when this guy drops some more street clips and shows that he can keep his skiing interesting and fresh for 5+ years.
