no one knows this bud, it's august. but if they put in the rails early and set them up like they did the double kink and high flat rail, it could be good.

he will be traveling alot this yr. and next to attemp the oplympic team. if he is gone the hill will lack insentive to improve. my guess is wentworth will improve slightly this yr. We need to see a consist maintance program this year. it will help us improve so much. One weekend in quebec made foster and jon superstars. imagine if we had features with attention given to them here. my 2cents - fuck 50

Olympic team? I didn't think Joel was even into pipe. If he is, that explains the need to travel.
He'll still be around a bit, hopefully Martock isn't a total gong show. They usually aren't that bad but the problem is, the park isn't fully operational until less than a month before closing.
As for wentworth, they're not much better. Sure, they build a great park in January but then they let it fall apart. By the time March rolls around, most of the features are totally unusable. At least Martock maintains their featuers or at least tries.
We really should get as many people as possible to email Martock and Wentworth with our concerns. Bitching on a website gets nothing done. The people who run the hills real problem is that they have no clue what is going on or what needs to go on in a park. Let them know what you want.

Jeff raked his brains out giving hills advice last year, seemed like management listened but then wouldn't do anything. Every kid on twin-tips can give Martock advice on things but the management has to start acting on the advice and taking it seriously before we see real results. If asked if you like a feature by an employee don't be afraid to tell them what you don't like about it, you are the paying customer and you don't have to like anything that they build. I heard so many ppl last year wehn asked about the first martock death jump how it was and they were all like 'ooh man it's soo good' yet the jump was 2ft long with no landing. If Andy hears kids saying that he'll be satisfied with what he has built. Anyway, the best medicine is not to get your hopes up and get dissapointed but to strive to change the way things are being done. JJ was on a one man mission last year and he needs some help....
ya dan.. Joel is def into pipe// he came 2 at nationals two yrs ago, and got into the semi fimals of the us open last year. he also did a vans triple crown event and caame top 10.

I'll make sure to fire something over to Martock. Its a pretty frustrating situation. I would make them some rails for the park if they would put them in correctly and maintain them. I know that wouldn't be the case though. Its a shame to see a bunch of fucking ski patrol who know nothing of park safety or park physics try to 'fix' a jump or rail. They make things unhittable and unsafe or just plain unfun.
