Marquette/ Bohemia

^ ive been up there a few times, live in milwaukee so its a hall for me. anyways go to midwestskier.com there are a lot of skiers from marquette on there

i live in hancock by mt ripley and thats really good...so is bohemia but i dont ski marquette too much.

last year some people make a nice bc hit on the pore rock piles in phenix (about 20 min south of bohemia) and i went sledding there this year and it was ridiculos, super steep and tons of powder

yeah if you go along cliff drive on your way to bohemia, towards the northern end of the road, there's a large cliff ban with a few wide up inruns beneath it and a lot of salt mine hills for hits. we built one a little north of the Delaware Mine area (just south of bohemia) a month or so ago and it was also pretty tight. there's a few pics of it onhttp://www.tech.mtu.edu/~khmay/houghton/houghton.html (towards the bottom of the page)

the park at ripley should still be in good condition if it doesn't rain again. should be good fun. nice big jumps.

I ski at Ripley and thats a really fun hill, I havn't skied much at Bohemia or Marquette but they've been nice the times I've been there.

Have had a pass at bohemia every year it's been open. It kicks ass! It is the only mountain like hill in the Midwest. If you go, bring your rock boards. They don't make any snow or groom anything, so rocks poke thru everywhere (especially when they have under 100' of snow), I've killed three sets of boards up there. But if you want an awsome hill with glades, cliffs, and powder this is the place.

Ripley is fun to mess around for a few hours.

Marquette is cool, in my opinion it has one of the best parks in the midwest. But that's starting to become common knowledge.

This post is from last season.

I dont know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
